Synopsis:

Alex challenges the banker today, which is not always a good move. He gets off to a good start and his early rounds and offers go well for him. He then totally isolates the top 2 amounts and receives a drop in the offer. It is now that the banker starts playing games with Alex by telling him what his future offers will be if he takes out any of the 2 largest amounts! This rattles Alex and after some thought he takes the £14,900 that is on offer. The banker then calls straight back and tells him he has just got him cheap as he should have paid £40,000 then! Things go even worse for Alex as the proveout round goes against him, and the banker would have increased his offer even more! Things then get worse as Alex's box is opened to reveal £100,000.

Afraid to say that the synopsis of this game is spot on - challenging the Banker isn't always a good move and so it proved for Alex. That £14,900 offer was extremely clever.

Actually, he would have never opened the neby's box. If he had gone all the way to the end we would have had the dream scenario.

cheer guys for your comments. the game is all about bringing out personality when i challenged the banker my offer went up by 3,000 so it can work either way. and 10 was my house number it would had stayed till the v end which i said from the start...sadly wasnt aired..which contained the 10p even though the dream scenario would had been ideal if i would had gone till the end. kind reagrds Alex Regan

There's no way, no way in the world that he would've offered 68k i mean all his offers were quite low to be honeset and yet the next offer is liky over 50k more. I think in all honesty he would have offered at the most 40k had he gone on which he should've definatley done.

It's very clear that Alex choked at the vital moment during this game. Mental strength and determination are needed when playing a highly skilled and complicated game such as Deal or No Deal. It's not for amatuers, and unfortunately Alex is not a pro. He was fed to the wolves, and he was eaten alive.
