The Banker then offered Ann to swap box number 4 with box number 8. Ann accepted the Bankers offer.

Ann had £50,000 in box number 4, however as Ann swapped the box Ann had box number 8 which had £1,000. Ann beat the Banker by £8,000, although the highest opportunity to deal was £18,000.

The remaining box belonged to Deborah with box number 4 which had £50,000.

(This is Ann's box.)

Summary:

Dealt at: £9,000
Amount in their Box: £50,000
Highest Offer: £18,000
Lowest Offer: £1,000

Synopsis:

Ann plays with a system that confuses both Noel and herself throughout her game. It also doesn't produce the type of game that Ann was hoping for and late in the game with her first fairly decent offer on the table Ann decides to deal. It proves a deal too soon unfortunately, but Ann does manage to halt a rampaging 'blown it' speech by Noel by performing a hypothetical swap which gives away the big money.

£9,000 was a rubbish offer and I seem to remember that daughter of Ann's telling her to bloody deal. Doesn't anyone hate it when the contestants bring their partners on the show and they influence their decisions.

well i'll never forget leila's game on 2 may 2007 when her mother virtually ordered her to deal at 11k when her 8-box board was pretty decent. her mother didn't look like the nicest person anyway - she remained more or less stone faced while her daughter was providing entertainment earlier on in the show. and i bet she would have looked at leila as if to say "what on earth have u done" if she had turned down that 11k, then would have fiercely got her to deal at the next offer of 18k. certainly wouldn't want her as my mum, and imagine if she had been 101k graeme's mum just two days later...

I just watched the end of Leila's game again and it's one of those where if she'd been playing in seasons 3 or 4 instead of season 2, she'd have got the Banker's Gamble.

and i bet her mother would have ordered her not to take the gamble... i must admit i was quite appalled at her indifference when it was revealed she had cost her daughter 39k. unfortunately noel liked her and told leila to thank her - what the f***?

Well on Tuesday's game who here thinks that if he left the 50k with the 10p the Banker's Gamble would have been offered, I do. From now on were going to see boring players who deal at poor offers and end up winning a power five sum because of the B/G and not bravery.

What an incredible lady today, I couldn't believe she declined 'old faithful' £26,000 at that point. At first I didn't believe her that she would go all the way, but she was telling the truth. Totally deserved to win the £75,000, at least that's how it should be done. Bravery and determination, not the other way. Noel did say at the end "You do have to have a little more courage" unless you know what comes. Best game i've seen in a while.

Wow, in Spike's game, I guessed all his offers correctly, knew the first offers would be what they are, and the 5th offer was shocking that I got it right :O hehehe, it was a good game, felt good watching DOND after taking a wee break from it. It was mainly because of the show I had to do, had to prepare an all, learn lines etc

yes, no dealer's back, and sorry if i'm sounding miserable or i'm 'feeding' him, but will this site get round to deleting his latest comments (or, to b precise, those with the IP address xxxxx.jcc.ac.uk, since he hasn't put in his name)? or is the latest stage in the declining efficiency of this site not being bothered to delete trollish comments?

Yes today's game was good and for the first time he played it in the right style. Thinking and reading the board carefully whilst commenting on it got the Banker's attention, which is why he got some generous offers. Also his family didn't come down and influence him which is what I like to hear. I don't think the offer would have been 20k though at five box, I seriously doubt that.

I predicted 20k as I know he'd inflate the offers a bit, I bet he woulda stuck in active play.

OMG is this site nearly 2 weeks behind now. Well we are just gonna have to bear it until it does finally get updated. Anyway what a game today, I really couldn't read Heath at all, I had no idea what he was going to do at the point before he dealt. I really, really thought he was the one who was destined to win big. I don't why, I can't explain, I just had this feeling that he was meant to. Oh why didn't you just follow your beliefs and go to the end. On the other hand £27,000 was a lot of money, even though I would have carried on it's his game. I don't know what if he would've gambled at 90 grand though, and i'm not sure I would've gambled at that point either.

i hope i'm not about to get into a lot of trouble here but i seriously wonder if any care is being given by the runners of this site at the moment. not updated in 2 weeks, daniel's game from a month ago STILL hasn't gone up, and no dealer's latest remarks have not yet been removed
