A really good game here with a very brave player. She faced a lot of horror in her life and I thought that when Noel said to her "it was good to meet you" it was a very nice touch. The £5,000 probably means more to her than the possibility of winning a lot more, as she could have done but that is what makes 'Deal or no Deal' the great programme that it is. I also thought that the treatment that Adam (new player) got from Noel and the banker was most amusing.
xxxxx.manc.cable.ntl.comSorry to break it to you but I don't think many people enjoyed this game very much, I myself am one of them. Oh and Noel's jokes aren't as funny anymore, including the one where he writes over the player's name tags. I don't believe we have seen an all red finish for quite some time and there was only a 10% chance of her doing that. On a plus side it was good though that she did because that meant there was no chance of the Banker's Gamble being offered.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comBarbara may have been very brave as regards her condition - but, without any disrespect intended, she certainly was not brave at all as regards her game. We're talking two very different kinds of bravery here. And Crazy Chair, surely even you thought to some extent that £5,000 was not a good offer for that 5-box board? It may have been a clever offer in that it allowed the Banker to get her very cheap, but it certainly was not a good one.
xxx.157.1.184Sean (and others) what amazes me is that you seem to believe that it is a personal battle between the banker and the player. I did think £5,000 was fair, given the state of the board and the mental state of the player. This is a lighthearted random choice show, designed as such and the sooner you all realised that, the better. It is not the banker's job to destroy the player, that is the ethos of the game.

Sorry about the duplicated post.
xxxxx.manc.cable.ntl.com£5,000 was just rubbish. Not a good offer at all even though Noel kept saying it was. If I were to deal there I wouldn't accept anything less than £10,000.
