A good start for Bel today, and she really builds on it well in the early stages. She then takes a big hit in the 4th round and things take a turn for the worse. Bel plays on for one more round, but then decides to take the £6,500 on offer at the end of the 5th round. In a dramatic finish the Banker lures Bel back into the game with his 'Banker's Gamble', and Bel takes up the offer.

The offers were pretty good today. None were too low. I was surprised when Bel said DEAL to the Banker's Gamble. I was hoping for the first big win of 2010 but unfortunately we get the first 1p Club Member of 2010. :( I'm wondering what the offer would've been at 2 box had she played on. I would offer about £20K there but the Banker would probably place it so low to get another 1p win.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! This was another one of those attempts to force a big win, just like Alice, Lauren and Ellen. Anyone who deals and then undeals by accepting the Banker's Gamble to me shows no bravery at all. How can someone like her who is not brave enough to go all the way to the end deserve to be a big winner. It's obvious this was an attempt to force a big win because of the dull games that have been happening since the beginning of the year. They just want to try (and for me and a few others fail) to keep the show going by coming up with new ideas to try and produce more big winners. There's your answer to your question for this so called person who names himself "What is the Banker to do?", his job and so far he isn't, if I was a producer i'd have sacked him ages ago and I may even be tempted to sack Noel if he continues in failing to remember contestants and presenting badly. So far we've had 3 games full of gimmicks and they seem to be getting worse. If the Banker carries on, then i'm going to stop watching this show which is a shame as i've remained loyal to it since I started watching it around the beginning of 2006.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comI apologise for my behaviour and ranting on but i'm just so annoyed when I see games like this.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comA wudnt worry 2 much joe, a got quite annoyed aswell at this game, but a duno what annoyed me the most, the bankers gamble or the fact that when he offered it he rung bak atleast 3 times, but none the less I wuda gone 2 the end an swapped
xx.242.174.143I can't understand why she didn't swap, ?? She said about number 3 and how she wanted to keep it, and she said she came there for the 75,000 but dealt at 6,500- that doesn't add up. Can't believe how many times the new contestant Mo has had 250,000 in such a short time, 4 times and 100,000 one in 8 games, If I was playing, even though it is a random game I would keep him to the end- spooky
xx.243.185.247(response 2 marks comment) if u were 2 play and u did keep him 2 the end wud u swap ur box for his? Or wud that depend on what amounts u kept in play 2 the end?
xx.242.174.143god what is it with this bankers gamble January is not a good month for deal but it is for the banker still 1 spanking and the bankers gamble gamble gets offered with 1p n £75,000 he wud never offer £6,500 there maybe £15,000-£20,000 atleast so why has he offered it whats the point in this i rele am gettin sick and tired of this bankers gamble why is the banker doin it and another member of the 1p club i rele am not liking season 5 so far at all especially this month weve had 3 great wins that was with no gimmicks Andrews Michelles (the 2 people hu won £50,000 in december) and laura hu won £35,000 there still my 3 favourite games and definelty corrine shes the one hu derserved that £250,000 more than anyone why cant they be more players like her around god these games rele do piss me off i still like dond but i want it to be like old times im sorry if im sounding out of order but i just hate games like todays.
xxxxx.range81-156.btcentralplus.coma wudnt worry 2 much bowt it tho stu, me an joe were just as annoyed, and like a shad on carmines page, that banker needs 2 b sacked an a new 1 shud b hired, if a was a producer a wud sack the banker on the 1st instant that he started playin up if his annoying gimmicks, a wud tell him 'DO UR JOB PROPERLY OR UR OWTA HERE' soz for the caps lol
xx.242.174.143calm down joe lol only joking its only a game show lol well anyway what can i say bel was a lovely lady but i didnt want to bankers offer who else just like me saw the b/g coming a mile of cause it was nearlly 4.50 so they had loads of time left
xxxxx.range81-157.btcentralplus.comI probably would swap for Mo's box if it was between a blue and a huge red but I'm not sure what I would do if it was two reds like £35,000 and £50,000. I thought that Bel wasn't doing to say deal to bankers gamble and that would have annoyed me more because the banker's stupidity gave her a brilliant opportunity to turn down a measly sum of money and win 75,000. If I was playing I would turn down 15,000 + with that situation
xx.243.185.247sorry for being mean here but i'm glad that this attempt to force a big win ended up biting the producers on the bottom... and i'd say bel WILL get invited on to 1p specials if there are ever to b any, no matter what the banker says. but crikey, 8 members of the 1p club this season, and 29 in all... surely the barge can't stay afloat much longer
