Synopsis:

A nightmare start for Bessie today, and it really sets the tone for the rest of the game as Bessie struggles to turn things around. The Banker throws in an early Halloween twist when he will give Bessie an offer after every box if she declines the 5th round offer. Bessie takes up the challenge, and after the 1st box of the final round gets and offer of £7,500, she declines this. After the 2nd box she gets an offer of £17,500 and snaps this up! The Banker isn't finished though and throws in his Banker's Gamble after the final box of the round, but Bessie doesn't take him up on this.

After a great start to the week with Laura's game, it started going downhill from then and it just got worse today. Another player who gets an offer after every box for no reason whatsoever, that £17,500 and £32,000 were massively over inflated as we knew she'd take it and then to put the icing on the cake the Banker decides to throw the Gamble in. Another great example of the Banker not doing his job properly, I think it's time the Banker packed his bags and quit.

I had a feeling this would happen as two things occured to me. 1. It was about 4.45pm when it was at the 5 box stage, so I knew there would be something to keep the game going for another 15 minutes and 2. When he mentioned halloween and Noel responded that it wasn't till next week, I knew straight away that gimmicks were on the way. See i'm really good at reading this game and expecting the unexpected.

£17,500 would so be an INSTANT DEAL on a board like that. £32,500 would have been so OVER INFLATED since the offer at 2 box would've been 99.99% of the average and the Banker hardly ever offers THAT MUCH near the average! What I don't get is why the Banker offered the Gamble at £1 & £75,000. Who would EVER be foolish enough to go for that?! Still, it was a good game. Enjoy that £17.5K, Bessie! :D

Although I'm happy Bessie got £17,500 I'm beginning to see how the gimmicks put together can ruin the show. In this game the mixture of the additional offers, the future offers and the Banker's gamble the game wasn't as enjoyable as it would've been had she declined £4,500 and picked three boxes, that would've had a lot of tension in it. The Banker's added gimmicks produced a total anti-climax in my opinion. I think the gimmicks alone are one thing, but having them 3 in one did ruin the show. Finally, I think she didn't spank the banker as had she been in active play she would've gotten over £30,000. But congratulations on £17,500 anyway Bessie, hope you enjoy it.

I got a question for you guys that i'm confused with. How come in a normal 3 box situation at 5 box, the offer at the last 2 boxes are low but when there's an offer after every box, the final offer is way above the average. Take this game for instance the Banker said her next offer would be £32,000 if she took another blue out, however i'm nearly certain that if this was a normal 3 box game, her final offer would be less than half of that.

That's because it was a future offer, which is used to make the game more interesting by saying that the next offer could be very large. That's why future offers are so annoying, because you know that should the player indeed find a blue, we know they're just going to deal anyway so Bessie was never going to win the £75,000.

Since today's game hasn't been updated yet i'll be the first to comment. It was much better than yesterdays, the only thing I disliked is when the Banker increased the offer because it looked like she was gonna go for it before so it kind of ruined it a bit. Still it's a lot of money and it was a good offer acutally. Wasn't too keen on the music they played either, can't remember who it was by.
