Things return to normal in the Dream Factory today, as Love Week is now over. Carla kicks things off, and gets off to a mixed start but shows she has a gutsy side to her. She does pick things up nicely even with some gameplay from the Banker! At the end of the 5th round she is offered £20,000, which Daniel manages to get increased to £25,000, but Carla then says that she wishes it was Love Week and she could open another box and then get another offer! The Banker then takes her up on this challenge, and tells her that if she declines the £25,000 he will allow her to open 1 more box and receive an offer!! She snaps up this chance and thinks she has made a good decision when £10,000 is revealed in the next box, however the Banker turns evil and says that he doesn't have to increase the offer and will in fact lower it to £20,000! This encourages Carla to play on, and she then improves her position and gets an offer of £30,000 at the end of the round. After a lot of thought she takes the money, but her proveout round doesn't quite go to plan.

I don't know which was lower: the quality of the episode or the IQ of the player.
xxxxx.as43234.net£30,000 was a great offer and i wudve took it but the others forget about it no deal she was quite fit too but her bf was nearly doube her age wow what a age gap she was a ok player but i do wish she wud make her mind up quicker thats the only thing what was up with her and actually 1 more thing she sed she'd go on if the £250,000 was there why dint she she wudve won it and at 19 thts alot of money for her she were a pretty lass only 5 years younger than me lol i wouldnt say no.
xxxxx.range86-133.btcentralplus.comi too thought that carla was not the sharpest tool in the box. this may sound horribly cruel but i have 2 admit i'd actually put her in the top 5 of the least intelligent contestants of all time - although donna from december 2006 is still number 1
xx.134.190.32Ah, Donna; proof that prove-outs can be just as entertaining as live play. And Donna's was the best prove-out of all time i.m.o.
xxxxx.as43234.netYou lot are so mean, so what if they may not be intelligent, last time I checked deal or no deal has only one question, and its not a trvia one. But her game was awesome, just didn't agree with the extra offer. Oh and she didnt say she'd carry on her grandma/aunty sandra said so if the 250 is there, carry on, she didn't say it herself!
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukI agree with DOND i think she did the right thing not taking the risk, for someone at 19 she can an awful lot with 30 grand. Here are a few examples: Deposit on a house or flat, student debts, morgage, bills, savings car insurance etc. Yes obviously i would've loved her to have gone all the way and be the second quarter millionaire but wouldn't we all, but i'm almost certain that if she had carried on at 30k she would have definatley dealt at 65k.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comOh and another thing, for the first time in a long time a young stunning girl goes away with a big win. Think back to all the previous players Ty, Cassi, Sarah, Lisa (the poet) last time someone young and stunning won a lot was Gemma from easter last year.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comwell i certainly didnt find this game awesome. and dond, intelligence isnt solely about answering questions - the intelligence test on the krypton factor doesnt have and never has had a single question in it
xx.134.190.32The past 7 days on DOND has been pretty good, almost 3 winners. This type of ending is always my favourite, when they deal at a low amount and they have the £250,000.
xxxxx.dynamic.dsl.as9105.comWow you're the first person I've heard say that £30,000 is a low amount, or do you mean its low compared to the 1/4 million? Then its a different story!
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.uk(spoiler) I'm surprised the Banker didn't offer his Gamble in Nagib's game on Tuesday, as the board at the end was perfectly set up for him to do so, and Nagib kept going on that he was a gambler. Anyway, because it wasn't offered, it was a good show. and the £26,000 worked yet again.
xxxxx.as43234.netI think it was because he was left with 2 reds, 100k and 3 grand. The banker doesn't offer the gamble when it's between 2 reds, it's usually between a blue and one of the power five when they've already dealt.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comHe should stop the gamble altogether unless the red is something like £15,000 and the blue is like £10, and they've dealt at £4,000 (which would probably be the offer at that stage anyway)
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukOk you know someone else also used the name dond so I'm gonna have my actual name written now. This is dond (the one that deals early) lol.
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukY do the people that work on this site take so long to update it? Argh
xx.148.178.211Did anyone watch today's game it was fantastic please don't spoil it though.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comi watch it it was a great game n i so tempted to gab about it but i don't want to spoil it for people who aint seen it all im goin to say is i wouldve gone on at the 5th offer especially with 3 higher than the offer ive always said that when the game comes on the site ill talk more about the game.
xxxxx.range86-159.btcentralplus.comYes and a few things I will say without spoiling it is that it's about time we had a player who doesn't see the need to get out of the chair after every single box and kiss the box opener. Plus there was no sob story and there were no major gimmicks. This Thursday's game was the best in a long while.
xxxxx.as43234.netYeah I loved today's game (Friday's game) it was so so so coooooooooooooool! Cant wait till they update this site lol
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.uk(spoiler) admittedly it was quite good although the double offer thing spoiled the flow of the game slightly and after all the hype about Daniel it was a bit disappointing to see him deal at the half way stage (one of the first to do so this season)
xxxxx.as43234.netAnd his opening offer =S Why was it what it was.
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukTwo reasons why Daniel's first offer was so high: 1) he knows Daniel's not going to deal anyway, 2) it would look even bigger compared to the offer which Daniel made for the Banker
xxxxx.as43234.netYeah i was surpriesed that he dealt at the 3rd round too, although his offers were really generous but i personally would have gone on at that point. The only dissapointing thing was at the end when all the contestants got that bonus thing. I'm not saying it's wrong too give people bonuses but it does spoil the fact that they're getting credit for doing nothing when everyone else who has played DOND get's nothing. So when any new players come along in the next game they'll recieve nothing.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comReally the banker should only give bonuses on special shows. For example on the 1st anniversary every player got £250 and every pilgrim recieved a bottle of champaign when David took out the 1p in the 1st round (they did this for the 500th show as well). It's ok if they do it on special shows cuz they're a one off, but on a normal game it doesn't seem right.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comwell the general view on the digital spy forums is that daniels game was boring. and the offer he dealt at - noel does know about the remarkable regularity of that offer doesnt he? as i may or may not have hinted some time ago, it can b like the bankers favourite £26k sometimes
xx.134.162.197I know carla well, im a student too and 30k is alot of money at our age! so shhhhh ye =)
