Charles brings a touch of class to the pound table today. Unfortunately he has one of those games where the large money trickles away during the early rounds and never allows him to get any large offers. Wary of joining the 1p club after managing to increase his offers, Charles departs before the final round and makes a very wise move.

For the first time since Jess's classic we get a game where a contestant wins the highest amount available - and it was highly fitting that Charles should be that contestant. He was a whole lot of fun, played a blinder throughout even if the big money was never there - and to top it off he had the 1p in his box. As he might put it, jolly good show.
xxxxx.alb.east.verizon.netHopefully game 800 will be a success too, but on a larger scale because Bettys 100k win a while back seems like a distant memory.
xxxx.195.dsl.perlicobb.comI loved Charles, after Eloise's cheat yesterday Charles was my character.
