Still in the 60's themed Love week, and Clare-Louise steps up today armed again with the Love necklace which is given to Daniel with box 2 today. A fair start is rewarded very well, but things soon turn, and it then takes a few rounds for Clare-Louise to recover. When she does and has a tasty offer placed in front of her, she weighs up the board and decides to quit early even with the Love necklace still to play. She then plays the Love necklace in the 1st box of the proveout round, and painfully finds out the Banker would have increased the offer to £24,000! More pain follows in the final round.

Why didn't she just go another round or use the neckless and then deal. I'm sorry for my frustration but i would definatley go another round with that board.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comi would have gone on too and then probably would have dealt at the £27k
xx.134.195.196Easy to say that when you're watching it at home, British Leyland! I wold have dealt when she did though lol, I'm so glad, she ignored everyone, as everyone was forcing her to carry on, I'm glad shes not like those who are influenced by everyone!
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukbut in effect she only needed 2 open 1 box 2 get another offer, by playing that love necklace. and if she'd done that she'd have got another £9k, and that would have been a better deal. was she scared of the possibility that daniels box had the £35k or £250k in it?
xx.134.204.180oops!! i meant £50k rather than £35k
xx.134.204.180Thing is also how do we know that would have been the offer is she had gone on. Most of the time the banker lies about his offers when players have dealt cuz they always tend to rise dramaticly where as if they were still in play his offers only go up by a few grand. Also if i was playing in love week i wouldn't use the neckless at all i'd keep it to the end at the last 2 boxes because if i used it and recieved an offer it would make it more difficult for me to carry on and i might squander big time if i deal.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comYeah I would do that too Joe because it would make a mockery of the gimmick and for once even Noel wouldn't be able to say 'the necklace completely changed his game'.
xxxxx.as43234.neti'd love 2 see what noel and the banker would think if some 1 kept the necklace 2 the last 2 boxes!
xx.134.204.180At least we only have one more love show and i'm not really bothered if it's a big win or not. I just want this love week over and done with then we can give it a rest until easter which is in april i think, looking forward to the 1000th show though i wonder if the prize will increase to maybe £1,000,000.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comWhile seeing £1,000,000 as a top prize would be interesting, it would be really really unfair to everyone except whoever plays. They would have to come up with a very fair way of choosing the player. Having a vote isn't good because the mummy or daddy would win, and picking a ball out of a bag isn't good because it's unfair for a newbie to play for a million after having been there for one or two shows.
xxxxx.as43234.netIt won't be a million because on the 3rd birthday I expected the jackpot to be £750,000 (treble it like they doubled it for the 2nd birthday) but they didn't. I'd love for it to be £500,000 even, Annie took it out on her first box opening which produced an anti climax, I expect it to be £250,000 as usual, I'd love for it to be £500,000 or £1,000,000 but I don't think they will
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukI hope it will be better than the 500th show cuz Annie was annoying. It would have been cool if that african guy Daniel would play for £1,000,000 cuz he would definatley go for it.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comWell at least the 1000th show can't be any worse than the third birthday show. That cake gimmick was one of the worst I've ever seen.
xxxxx.as43234.netThey'll probably have an offer after each box at 5 box i predict.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comHow original.
xxxxx.as43234.netFor The 1000th Show I Think The Banker Might Offer Every Contestant A £1,000 And The Audience A Bottle Of Champagne If The Player Finds 1P In The 1st Round And Maybe The Top Prize Will Be A Million Pounds But To Be Quite Honest With You I Dont Think That'll Happen I Hope It Does But I Doubt It N If They Do I Think The Farest Way Of Doing It Is To Get The Audience To Vote For There Favourite Contestant And Who Ever Gets The Most Votes Gets To Play For The Million Pounds.
xxxxx.range86-133.btcentralplus.comI wish they do something new like add a new twist, the offer after 5 box is good, but getting boring now. Like pick a number of a hat 1-10 and each number could give them different things like a bonus of £1,000 £500 etc, and another could be the banker can look in 1 box of hs choice etc..
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukLol I thought that too!
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.ukNo no no, the Banker looking inside a box is what caused all those horribly forced big wins during Santa v Scrooge, we don't need that again!
