Not a great opening round for Dan, and the Banker says he is out to provoke him today and pitches in a very low opening offer! Dan struggles to get any luck in his game, and even a potential life-line of an offer after every box in the final round doesn't work out for him as he takes out his only red in the very first box of the round!

He was right there were absolutely no good opportunities for him, offers were yet again very undervalued for the board apart from 2,000 which I thought was very impressive but it didn't really make sense to go up three hundred pounds when the top of the game went, same with just dropping 300 pounds when the 100,000 went. It means that the offers weren't thought out properly at all. He did really look like a kid though, and saying I'm here to play the game after every round, nearly after every box opening :S
xx.144.240.206I wasn't really that bothered about Dan to be honest, he wasn't one of my faviroute players anyway. Having said that it was such an appauling game for him right to the end. That opening offer has got to be the second lowest offer I can remember, with John's £8 being the first which was way back in Feb 2006. I didn't see the point of the offer after every box once the £15,000 went as it was pointless, although it would have been funny if had dealt because then we could have seen if a Banker's Gamble senario would come as we've never had one between 2 blues before. Noel bugged me off again when he said to Dan to stop being negative it's going to be a blue only for the £15,000 to be revealed afterwards. Well that shut him up.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comand the 18,647,325th example or something like that of noel's bad memory - he said just before the 63p offer that he had never seen a game like this for bad luck. derek brown and nikki tucker are all but forgotten then...
xx.134.148.236British Leyland, I have been at the dream factory (as may you have) to watch some recordings. The thing that struck me was how quickly it was all done, no retakes and no producer yelling at Noel to "get his facts right" so I would contend that what Noel says, about statistics, is from his own memory and not from the researcher's notebook
xxxxx.manc.cable.ntl.comi wonder why blixa isn't on this site anymore typing stupid comments. did any of u think blixa was cool
