Dawn really struggles with the offer, but after lots of thought takes the deal. It doesn't prove a good move as she finds a low red in the last box and the offer at the end of the 5th round leaps to £22,500!

(Warning this will be a very long comment) So far this week has been a catastrophe, Laura's game on Monday with a stupid special gamble, Matt's game yesterday which (despite no gimmicks) was a disaster and now we have Dawn's. We had sob stories, rubbish offers and gimmicks. That part where the Banker phoned back to remind Jo if the next box was £100,000 he'll punish Dawn was uncalled for and I'm even going so far to say Noel was just as bad by rubbin it in on Jo. Why the hell didn't he just answer back and say "don't be so mean" and put the phone down. Who's side are you on Noel? Then we have one of the worst deals ever, probably in my top 5 worst deals. To make an offer at 6 box is just pathetic and to deal is even worse. Did she honestly believe if the £75,000 went the next offer would come crashing down. I reckon the offer would have been £10,000 which is hardly a disaster, so it was completly worth going for. I knew she would deal anyway as there was only 5 minutes left at 6 box so there was no time left to finish the game. If this week is just as bad, i'd hate to think what next week is going to bring.

I actually enjoyed this game, thought that the offers were good especially 11,500, can't agree with the deal at 6 box, the offer would not have been less than 8,000 if the 75,000 went and if any of the other reds went the offer would climb, I think that 17,500 would have been fine at 5 box I think, My offers would have been £8,000, £13,000, £7,500, £9,000, £17,500 and finally £11,000, It's quite likely she would have went at 5 box with 17,500 but it's happened before where the banker introduces one of the gimmicks of a special deal or no deal week on the week before, but extra offers are becoming almost inevitable so love week doesn't really have anything special to it anymore- costumes look ridiculous, why do they have to dress up? Pink boxes and extra offer- fine but I think they should stop wasting their money on costumes and setting that audiences see as ridiculous- when viewers see strange outfits they are more likely to change the channel (this is also an very very long comment)

I have to say that I was VERY ANNOYED at the 6 box offer. That was another pathetic gimmick the Banker did. I really don't want to know what Noel is going to say tomorrow. The chances of taking out a Red is very high yes but the chance of taking out the £75K was about 14%. I would've gone on for the last box and then taken the £22,500 (if I didn't take out £75K). I am seriously dreading Love Week. I hope there isn't that annoying one box at a time gimmick but there probably will be. Also, NO MORE MINIGAMES! I don't want another Santa VS Scrooge style gamble again. So, another game gets ruined by the Banker's annoying gimmicks. February 2010 is really not a great month for DOND so far. I thought what the Banker did to Jo was just not fair. £5 would just be a very cruel offer.

Oh great just great that means there is an opportunity for the Banker to look inside the box in Love week, fantastic. I was hoping it would be like last years where they just picked the neckless and got one extra offer, that's it. I'm dreading to fear that with all these gimmicks, special shows, offers in between games etc, it will come to a point where we never have a normal (22 boxes, 5 in the first round, 3 for the rest and no gimmicks) game again. Oh and Karl I doubt it and am sorry to say this but the Easter shows are just as bad and I don't want another one of those gambles again where they got a chance to win more at the end, like Tony's last year.

I think £17,500 was a good offer, especially if your only persuaders are £75,000 and £20,000! Once the 75k goes, the Banker may only make a profit of £2,000! Think! Don't just keep complaining about the offers being low, because sometimes they are not THAT bas as some make it out to be.

well i guess this all but confirms that an offer during a round is a regular gimmick now. and i agree with what joe says about dawn's deal - was she honestly that petrified about the £75k going??!? i know i'm sounding mean here but i was seriously tempted to shout "buck buck buck buck, chicken!" at the TV. thankfully the reaction to the whole thing on the fansite forum was lukewarm :) and as for the banker's threatening future offer in the 3rd round, well, that was totally unnecessary - yet it was clear from what noel did immediately afterwards that he liked it. yet more proof that he is becoming more and more of an obnoxious git than anything else...
