Synopsis:

Still trapped in the 60's as Love week continues today, with Del stepping up and offering the Love necklace to Jimmy with box 6. An average opening round is improved on greatly over the following rounds, until Del takes a big hit in the 4th round, he does however recover quickly and remains confident with the power of the Love necklace still to play. He plays this in the 1st box of the final round, and instantly receives an increased offer of £30,000 which is snapped up. The rest of the game plays out perfectly for Del and provides a fantastic victory over the Banker.

Del played a great game £30,000 was just too much to risk with only the £250,000 being the main biggie. I know there was £35,000 as a back up but if the 1/4 million had gone the offer would only have been 10k if 35 grand was left. Finally a good game, although i didn't like the part where the he told everyone what the next offer would be i would just keep that to myself.

The necklace of love certainly played a big part today for Del. It is a very good addition to the game, albeit for one week only. Carry on Deal or no Deal, it just gets better and better.

I'm one of them for starters, i use to like the special shows but now because they do too many each year it becomes annoying. They're obviously doing it to try and keep their ratings at a fair amount. Well only one more love show to go and i wonder if Noel will say happy valentines day everyone when really it will be on a sunday. I say that cuz last year when DOND was on sunday Noel would say welcome to satuday's game.

Andrew, thats just YOUR opinion, I still like DOND, and feel it should still carry on! It's not THAT bad! Oh and if you hate it so much, why don't you STOP watching it instead of moaning about it, its getting tiresome where some people complain, complain, complain...For Pete's sake, don't watch it if its not good anymore, simple!

The only way that Deal or No Deal could ever come off the air in the foreseeable future is if Noel Edmonds decides to call it a day, as many people (mainly the older audience) watch it because of him. And because Noel is obsessed with all the gimmicks which the show is using at the moment, I can't see him quitting any time soon.

I would stop watching it alltogether if Noel quits as it wouldn't be the same and the ratings would probably go down.

there is a problem though as regards the deletion of inappropriate comments, in that its very inconsistent. there are still loads of totally irrelevant remarks from 'lord voldemort' and his other identities. and there are still quite a number of comments like 'my brother yusuf likes u and brown' (williams game at the end of season 3), and anything with that horrible word 'chix', that i feel are the equivalent of spam on youtube. i must admit that such things do spoil my enjoyment of this site

This is random but I looked at Peter's game http://ilovedealornodeal.co.uk/Peter-Fri-24-Oct-2008-4-15-PM/ and noticed his offers were really poor, and this was in season 4, in the past few weeks, the offers have actually been pretty good, at the beginning of season 4 they were crap, the last time I remember the banker being gay with his offers was with TY, by sticking at £4,500!

Well, Sue's game on Sunday was the 150th of the season, so it's time for another average payout update. Season 1: £16,951, Season 2: £19,535, Season 3: £16,612, Season 4: £14,049. So season 4 has improved considerably after it's shocking start, especially as the average after 50 shows was below £10k. We can also see that the heydey in terms of prize money was season 2, which was the best season i.m.o.

The poorest offers of season 4 i would say is when Bill was offered 12.5 k at 5 box with 75k, 100k with 2 reds as back up. There was this other woman who had 75k and 100k and her offer was only 10k really i think if u get to 5 box with those 2 the offer should be 30k that's what Susan in season 2 was offered. There was also this man who played the violin and was offered a pathetic 26 grand with the 100k and 250k at 5 box, even if the offer was 40k i wouldn't deal. But yes the offers have started to get a bit better altough still not as high as it use to be.

(spoiler) You shouldn't have spoken so soon Joe, the necklace gimmick was used again in Monday's show. And once again a player who says they will go on if the £250,000 is still in play accepts an offer. the jackpot will never be won again at this rate.

SPOILER: James she didn't say she would carry on if the 250k was there, she said her brother or boyfriend (one of those two) said if it was there, she should carry on, she didn't say it herself, I'm glad she declined the offer which was given via the necklace gimmick thingie, it was not needed but that offer was crap anyway but in her game, the offers were fair.

I agree the offer she dealt at was a pretty decent offer, he could easily have just offered 20k again but in all honesty i would carry on with those two big numbers unless the offer was say 40k. She was a bit annoying at some stages like when she said what do u think i should do and asking her family. I didn't like that bit but of course that's how most players are nowaday they don't realise that it's your game not anyone elses and you will never be there again. But i think she did the right thing she's only 19 and that money will certainly do a lot for her e.g. pay off student debt's, morgage, deposit on a house savings for a year etc. At least though we didn't hear the bankers gamble which he could easily had done cuz she did say she go for it if it was still there and we didn't get told future offers and the last offer wasn't a daft one like over £100,000.

ps yeah James that bloody neckless thing was used again they better not continue a trend other wise what's the point. It's like braking the rules of DOND, from now on it should be played properly: 5 boxes 1st round and then 3 boxes from then on and no future offers, banker's gamble and high offers that are rubbish.
