Well this game couldn't have gotten any better could it? Terrible offers throughout the game (espeicially the 4th offer of £10,662),why everyone clapped and cheered I don't know. It was like he'd been offered 10 times that. Then to smuggle things up he comes up with one of his usual gimmicks of providing a bonus, even though he had won £15,000. Worst game so far.

The only good thing about this game was that the Banker (for ONCE) tried to make him win the lowest sum, rather than the biggest sum.

the reaction to that £10,662 offer reminded me of that when william in the final game of season 3 was offered £7,500 when he had 5 bigger than that including the £250k, £50k and £35k. as i've said before, if i'd been there i'd have been seriously tempted to shout out something like "CAN'T ANY OF U SEE THAT'S A RUBBISH OFFER???" though i'm pretty sure that wouldn't have gone down well and more than likely i would have got kicked out of the studio

Do you think that the banker was wanting Freddie to win 50p because it seemed to me that he wanted him to deal at 15,000 and then at 3,000 but I'm not sure, but right enough I suppose it didn't look like the banker thought he would swap the box? It was his granddaughter who helped him decide. 16,000 and 10,000 were low offers, I would have offered £9,500, £13,000, £22,000, £18,500, £7,000 ( because of the Scrooge) and then £5,900 to confuse him about what he had in his box. I'm not sure if he would have swapped or not though. He did well because he seemed to pay very little attention to the fact the banker had seen what was in his box

Did anyone else Notice , the Car in Freddie's Wedding Photo was a Mini (The Original model). As Freddie said he had been married for 50 years, making it 1959 that he got married. It must of been one of the very First. As The First Mini didn't roll off the Production Line until 10th August 1959.

It's obvious that the Banker is making such RUBBISH offers to force the player to 5 box. Freddie kept all the Power 5 until Round 3 yet the Banker offers just £16,662?! How PATHETIC! That board was probably worth at least £25,000! £15,000 was the only decent offer but all the offers where just so shockingly AWFUL! Also, it was another forced win at the end. The offer of £3,000 was so BAD that it's obvious the Banker saw 50p in the box!

(SPOILER)There was nothing Peggy could do. She didn't make any bad decisions as all the offers were RUBBISH again! Highest was just £7,500. I was absolutely APPALLED with the opening offer. Yes, she did take out £50K & £100K but £4,000 was just PATHETIC! I'm really not liking the Santa or Scrooge specials this year as the Banker just uses it as an excuse to make such BAD offers and FORCE the players to 5 box.

Does anyone else on this site hate the new gimmicks for this years Scrooge or Santa? I do, especially the one where if they take out the Banker's Power five in the opening round then the player can give the prize to anyone they like. Hopefully though today's game they fail to find it. This years Scrooge or Santa is painfully bad as it spoils the quality and feel of the show. Oh and dressing up as elves is one of the most embarrasing TV moments I have ever seen, couldn't they have just wore what they did in the previous years. Yes they were bad, but not as bad as this.

A sob story, terrible offers throughout the game (especially that £25,000 one with everyone applauding, even though he had the power four remaining backed by 20k and 10k. It was as though he had been offered 3x that) and then an ATROCIAS mini game at the end and it's the Worst kind of gimmick EVER. (Spoiler for Boxing Day game)I have seen some stupid gummicks before but this one was the WORST! I can't believe Noel was saying that he could still spank the Banker dealing at £15K. Did he forget that he was offered £25K?! I was really ANNOYED at the opening offer of £5,000 and the second offer of £10,000 was just pathetic. It SHOULD'VE been that in the FIRST OFFER not the next. Still, only a few Santa or Scrooge shows left and then back to normal but I'm dreading what's gonna happen in the New Year Special as that is also an hour long. I don't see any reason why these hour long shows are needed. THREE breaks is just excessive.

Today's episode was a classic example car crash Deal or No Deal. There were the gimmicks, sob stories, Noel's bad memory, Noel's bad maths (£20,000 is an extra 33% of £15,000, not 25%) and one of the stupidest endings we've ever seen.

Another error Noel made was when he mentioned about the Swap as final offer only happening 2 times when actually it has happened 3 times. It happened in PJ's game, Julie's game and Hollie's. Funny that he remembers things like how many 1p members there have been, £250,000 winners there have been, two 1p wins on consecutive christmas day shows but nothing else.

The offers in this game were bad, that is until the last 3 with the Santa! I would have offered £11,000, £19,000, £21,000, £30,000, and then£9,000, £12,500, £7,000 and finally £3,500. I didn't like the gimmick at the end at all, it is an unfair advantage, but also the offers after every box in the final round in special games started to give an unfair advantage. I didn't mind that though, . If they want to improve the game I think that every game should have an offer after every box in the final round- it would make things a little more interesting and in a positive way

Well today's game was boring tbh as it was a low win, a lot less from years at least there were no sob stories though. Abbie was very stunning as well, but who on earth would deal at that £10,000 offer it was rubbish even if it was £20,000 I would go on. I also found that mystery prize annoying as well as it tempted her into dealing. I always say, don't take what you don't know, and even if I did know I wouldn't take it anyway as i'd rather have money.

(I GUESS THIS IS ANOTHER SPOILER) although quite amazingly it turned out to be the right move. no doubt we wouldn't have had a natural feel-good ending if she had played to the end, and i don't need to say what would most likely have happened if she had not taken out the £75k in the last box of the last round... but in the end, i actually quite enjoyed this game. it was low money throughout, but abbie ultimately hardly missed out on much, and she was indeed seriously beautiful. don't think we've talked about really good looking ladies since the time of alice...

Today's game was boring as she was so cautious, I thought she was going to take the third offer of 8,000, These christmas games have been the dullest ever, 2007 was by far the best with Patricia and Orry's games- all the 2007 Christmas games were just generally more intriguing I think it was because the boards were so similiar this year, , Franny, Holly and Gaz had very similiar configurations at 5 box and the mince pie, carrots sherry thing was stupid, sometimes santa can be a disadvantage as players get too condident and knock the biggest sum off the board - these players were terrible at the scrooge situation, why on earth would you believe the banker??, the banker's bluffs were better at halloween I thought as he made it more confusing for the player

well corinne is the best player of december by a very, very long way, and very possibly the best player of 2009 as well. speaking of 2009, they didn't do an end of year montage at the end of today's show. this could have been because the producers wanted to cut costs, but in any case this hasn't been a good year for DOND. very few genuinely exciting games, very few natural big wins, very few seriously entertaining characters, more and still more gimmicks, noel becoming more and more of an obnoxious git IMHO and his memory getting worse all the time. and i hardly need to say what the lowest point was, reached on 12 march... naturally, some might disagree with me and think that 2009 has been good, but i am a purist after all - and if i'm being quite honest, i don't think the outlook for 2010 is very good, especially given the way season 5 is going at the moment. anyway, thanks to almost everyone (barring a certain few) for everything that's taken place on this site this year and have a happy new year and decade

Best of 2009: (In no particular order) Corrine, Mary, Amy, Ade, Ann, Claire, Laura and Eddie are the only ones who stand out in my memeory. Worst of 2009: (In no particular order) Alice, Kerry, Mel, Winston (which involved a farcialy inflated offer), the game where the players partner fainted, Des, Shaun, Mary, the game which involved a 'Double or Nothing' offer, the 2 games where another Alice situation nearly happened, Terry (which had a 250k Banker's Gamble), Russ (who made those annoying animal noises), Hassan (during Trick or Treat this season), the last Banker's Birthday and Trick or Treat (in which the Banker looked in the players box, despite not finding the Trick, Phoney or whatever one was the bad choice). As you can see there have been more bad games into 2009 than great games. Who knows what 2010 will bring.

The 2009 average payout was £15,096. As of 2009, the show has given away £19,008,646.83 excluding bonuses, so Abbie's game yesterday did in fact push them past the £19million mark. And on the topic of stats, £20,000 is the most frequently won amount with 71 people having won it. £10,000 is a close second with 68 people having won it.

(Spoiler) Well that was a great start to the new year wasn't it. The most annoying player of 2010 yet and that touching the floor nonsense was pointless. How many times has Noel said that "It's a random game of luck". To deal at the offer of £12,000 was terrible as the average is just over £21,000 (nearly twice what he accepted) and then just when we thought the Banker had made a new years resolution, he offers the Banker's Gamble. Who would really offer it at that point? Finally just when you thought it couldn't sink any lower he decides to come up with his bonuses again and give them all champainge. Great way to start 2010.

Did anyone notice the new look of the board and money values in the boxes too. Anyway remember when Noel mentioned about new year resolutions at the beginning of today's game well i've got some too and I bet everyone on this site will agree with me. Noel's resolutions: sort out his presenting, work out his maths correctly, stop messing around with offers, remove the 1p kiss, stop shouting "WHO CLAPPED" and remember players more. Banker's resolutions: Basically just do his job properly. At least now the dreaded run of 11 specials shows is over, hopefully we can have some good games now.

well this first game of 2010 has left me with an awful lot to say, so sorry if i'm being a chatterbox here. (1) the game itself, which may contain YET MORE SPOILERS (please may the runners of this site get back to work ASAP?) - well, just one game into 2010 and already we have a serious candidate for the year's most annoying contestant. little wonder they saved haz for this hour long special. and yet another cautious deal, and a banker's gamble that was as predictable as ice melting in a fire... and also that champagne gimmick is always pointless, as usually everyone gets the stuff anyway. (2) the new year's resolution thing - totally agree with those u've recommended for noel, joe, and may i add 'stop loving seriously annoying players' to that list? for it was clear he absolutely loved haz and his game, just as he's absolutely loved russ and a good number of screaming lady contestants. but u can be 100% sure he'll break any DOND related resolution that's thrown at him... (3) the new on-screen and board graphics - well, i suppose it was about time for a change there, though IMO it's not entirely for the better. i prefer the different shades of blue and red (with the lowest reds appearing orange) to just one basic shade of each... (4) the montage at the end - guess i spoke too soon about there not being one probably due to cost cutting, but why do this sort of montage at the start of the new year and not at the end of the previous year?? doesn't make the greatest sense to me TBH... now i'll shut up as i've said all i wanted to say

Well, after having seen the first game of 2010, I am really disappointed with it. They had to choose one of the most ANNOYING players for the one hour special. WHY was he kissing the floor?! I couldn't see any reason why this needed to last an hour. That break at 18 box made me ANGRY! Why can't they just do breaks after the round and not before the opening of the last box? I'm seriously sick of Noel asking players to open the box and then follow about 10 seconds later with "AFTER THE BREAK!" As for the deal, that was a bad offer. £12,000 was rubbish with THREE of the Power 5 still there. Also, I didn't like it when the Banker used the Champagne as an excuse to make the player deal. Enough of the gimmicks! The Scrooge or Santa games were bad enough. Can we please have NORMAL games without annoying gimmicks and gambles? As for the new board graphics. They look nice. About time DOND had an update.

Well today's game was slightly better than Friday's but again we have another one of those "Watch me win the £250,000" and then for them to deal moments later. I seriously doubt the offer would have been £38,000 at that point, £30,000 at the most. It also looks like Noel hasn't changed in 2010 as we saw 2 of his old boring jokes, messing around with offers and shouting "WHO CLAPPED". If I had been that pilgrim, i'd have pushed Noel out of the way, or even better thrown him outside lol. I'd probably be banned from show anyway but it would make great TV.

I did find that money value that dropped off the top of the box funny though. That's the third time that's happened since DOND started. Spooky how it contained the £250,000 just like Reg David's game did, was it all jinxed who knows? I was also very surprised that Noel succeded in remember him as well as it's been nearly 2 years since his game, so maybe his memory isn't that bad after all. He just needs to remember more that's all.

(will the runners of this site please realise that christmas is over and get back to regularly updating this site so we won't have to keep bumping up this page with more and still more SPOILERS??) well i only have one word to describe today's game and that word is BORING! even the empty box and noel throwing someone out for clapping failed to liven it up for me. his accursed playing around with the offers was followed by another cautious 8 box deal, and again one was left wondering if the player was playing on with honesty after dealing, as vikki chose box 22 first (they'll never stop calling it the 'death box', will they?!?)

(SPOILER)A better game than Friday's. She made a cautious deal at 8 box but £18,000 was a good offer. I seriously don't think the Banker would offer £38,000 at that 5 box. It's over-inflated! Maybe £30,000 but no more than that. Then, the part where nothing is seen in the box made me burst into laughter! I found it so hilarious to see a blank box and I was laughing even more when I saw it was £250,000! The most annoying part of the game though was when Noel was messing around with the offer. I mean how hard is it to just say what it is?!

(SPOILER)Today's game was good. £9,000 was a good offer at that point considering the average was just over £14,000. However, the 2 box proveout offer was over-inflated. £19,000 with £100 & £50,000 remaining?! I seriously doubt the Banker would offer that much. The FD would be about £13,600 so it's a bit high. If Stephen played on, I would've guessed the offer would be £13-£14K. So, saying that his partner cost him £10,000 isn't entirely true. Just quit coming up with such over-inflated proveout offers, Banker!

At this rate if the fansite doesn't get updated we'll be heading into the 100s with our comments. Anyway today's game was a bit boring really, he hardly showed any courage and that £9,000 was only fair. It should have been £12,000 or £13,000. I just don't like it when the players partner, friend or whoever is supporting them in the audience tells them to deal as it's their game and they should let them make the most of it. That's why i'm still single at the moment as having a partner would really put me at a disadvantage in this game. Oh and yes I doubt it would have been £19,000 as well, the players always play on with total honesty so why doesn't the Banker?
