ALL of those offers (excluding £88) were EXTREMELY generous. I would've dealt at £21,008 INSTANTLY! It was about 87% of the average and that is very high.

My word what an incredible player Gaz was. Normally I don't believe players who say they are going to play to the end because most of them bluff, but he really was determined to make the most of his moment. I am a bit of a gambler myself but there is no way i'd turn down £21,008 at that point. I really, really wanted him to win £100,000 after being so brave and such a bad start at the beginning. Why is it that most of the brave players like Corrine and Gaz are never rewarded and yet players like Alice who aren't as brave win the big money. Seems a bit unfair to me. Listen mate you may have only won £750, but your one of the bravest players i've seen for a while and I would definatley put you in my hall of fame, although i'm not sure Noel will as he will either forget or not count it as one of his memorable games.

I can't believe he turned down the £21,000, especially when he'd have been offered the Gamble anyway if the £100k stayed (unless it stayed alongside the £20k, but there's only a 10% chance of that happening).

Wow this is the 1st time ive commented in ages sorry ive been rele busy and been on holiday to vegas its been great and busy anyway to this game wow god he was brave cant believe how brave he was he got some fantastic offers part from the £88 one but all the others were so generous the 5th offer was soo good as the average is £24,000 ive never seen offers this generous in a very long time and ive gotta agree with Joe here why do brave 1s go home with nothing like gaz and corrine them 2 derserves the money what they couldve won and they better put these in hall of fame i thought gaz was gonna win £100,000 to be honest even if it would be uncanny to av another gaz to win £100,000 god noones won £100,000+ in over 3 years now i think the last 1 to win over £100,000 was graeme when he won £101,000 and have £5,000 in his box great game gaz sorry u dint win £100,000 but i wouldve gone on at £21,008 too mate if i saw u tmoz id give u a cheque for £100,000 coz u derserve it.

I'm shocked that this site recommended no deal for all the offers, I thought that they would recommend deal from third offer on, I was expecting £375 for the last offer but it wouldn't have made a difference, I would have offered £4,500, £6,500, £10,000, £8,500, £17,500 and £250- so the banker dug much deeper in to his wallet and it still didn't work- I hope deal or no deal gets more of these extremely brave players, I have to admit that players in recent times have had said no deal to offers that would nearly always be accepted by players before

...except the general view on digital spy is that he was greedy and even some people on the fansite forum thought that too. especially after he'd turned down the £21,008 the way he did, and the £15,008 and £11,008 too. i'll bet that they flatly disagreed when he said he wasn't greedy and just wanted to change his life. mind u his brother was certainly a bit of a prat - it looked like he just wanted to b on telly

would you have said that he was greedy if he had won the 100,000? It is easy to say when the game goes wrong that they got greedy but when they are rewarded it is usually called courage, would anyone have said that Laura was greedy or just incredibly brave?

i didn't say he was greedy, and if it looked like that was what i was thinking, then that wasn't intended - though i'm reserving my judgment of him. but u have got it spot on mark - if gaz had won the £100k, or got to 2 box with the £100k still there and dealt, then there probably wouldn't have been any remarks about him being greedy, and the same goes for any contestant who turned down a seriously good offer that had every reason to be dealt at, and then saw it all fall down. the problem is, though, that most such contestants are already not all that popular with a good number of viewers because they try too hard to create entertainment - think of di from 28 march 2007 (who turned down £44k with the £20k the highest amount besides the £250k, and fell to £8k) and ioanna from 1 october 2007 (who rather effortlessly turned down a near average £17.5k at 5 box and fell to £5k, then said straight out on this site that she wanted the £75k - no wonder she's one of my least favourite contestants). the same sort of applied to gaz, and his brother didn't particularly help the situation either. and with these contestants, it's all too easy to think that their no deal is more out of greed than courage

Well today's game was certainly a contrast from Friday's. What is it with the Sunday games now, they always tend to be the weakest. The offers weren't great either, why did he offer Gaz huge offers and rubbish ones in Hazel's game. The bit where Noel put that bucket over Tony's head wasn't funny either. That could also have been extremely dangerous as he could have suffocated.

@British Leyland - How do u expect him to act? hes a lad. At least he kept his word and he deserved the extra generous offers. And I doubt the bankers gamble would have been offered had he kept the 100k. And people on other fansites saying Gaz is greedy is 1 thing, but on youtube there are loads of people dissing Olly Murs because he turned down 22k when it was just his 3rd offer. Which I find pathetic and jealous. Gaz and Olly are 2 of my fav players. And Corrine as well of course.
