Synopsis:

More Scrooge V Santa with Gaz stepping up to the challenge today. He is a determined player and gets despite getting off to a shakey start he gets a good opening offer which he builds on nicely through his game. He has a set-back in the 5th round when the big one goes, but does have a bit of luck finding the Santa which earns him a holiday to Corfu and also an offer after every box in the final round. Gaz plays on and after the 1st box he gets an offer of £3,000, but turns it down. After the 2nd box he gets an offer of £6,000, but again turns it down. His final offer of £12,500 is also turned down and he then snaps up the offer to swap his box.

I really wish Noel would stop saying things like "curse of the newbie", "deathbox 22" and "unlucky 13" etc as it costed Gaz big time. Had he not changed his mind the £250,000 would have stayed and he would have had a better 5 box senario.

i don't think noel will EVER stop saying "curse of the newbie", "death box 22" etc etc, nor will he stop jinxing games - seeing as he's becoming more and more of an obnoxious git IMO. as for this game, i'd have seriously considered taking that £21k, although if there had been a deal there i'll bet noel and the others would have been some bit surprised, and the 5 box gimmick might have been left alone, just as it was when chris dealt at 8 box during the 2008 halloween specials

and even if gaz hadn't changed his mind, it's not at all beyond possibility that he would have gone for 21 anyway the very next box and thus would still have lost the £250k before santa scrooge time. even with noel's thoughtless actions, it is still a random game at the end of the day
