Synopsis:

A real roller-coaster of a game for Harold today, and although reckons he is a cautious player, Harold shows a determination to play the game while the big money is still on the board. A big decision comes along at the end of the 5th round as the £250,000 is very isolated, but Harold decides to go for it.

£19,000 was a pathetic offer for what was there. A better offer would've been the Banker's Ol' Faithful £26,000. That would've surely got Harold to deal.

well to be honest i dont even know why the banker still offers that ol faithful coz hardly anyone takes it now and even when they do the banker loses money so rele whats the point in offering it.

I didn't think it was too bad the £19,000, having said that i'd have still gone on. The second offer was rubbish though, if you keep the power five (which he did backed by 20k and 10k) then the offer should really be in the £20,000s and what was the whole point in offering a swap at the begininng. Personally I wish he would only offer those if the player goes to the end. Such a shame his bravery didn't pay off though, I thought for the first time this year we were going to have a big payout. So far only Shell's game has been the best this month and nobody has won more than £50,000 this season as well.

i've just noticed that out of the last 49 episodes of DOND - starting with ryan's game nearly two months ago - only ONE of them has a video of its last 10 minutes, and unsurprisingly that's corinne's game. how come the runners of this site have become that bad at uploading videos?!? and if people don't like me moaning about the site like this, then tough poo!

Well lets face it the runners of this site haven't quite got this site sorted for quite some time. Pictures of player's, comments on player's profile, last 10 mins of player's game and no season 1 or 5 page of all games uploaded. Unfortunatley there is nothing that us guys can do about it, so we'll just have to bear it and be thankful that a site such as this is still running. Most other sites such as Youtube, Dailymotion, Google video etc have removed videos of Deal or No Deal because of copyright claim by Endemol. So I hope this site doesn't get taken down.

Looks like I will comment on these games too. I see that your Banker gives some really tough offers. The 6k offer at 8-box is a bit ridiculous given the average is 35k. Our banker would have offered about 15k there and maybe 30k at 5-box. I have to say that if there are no gimmicks at all, your version has much more tension and drama than ours because of the final stage having to open 3 boxes instead of just 1 like ours. Our version is more about being there and having a good time. Unlike a lot of fans, I try to be "neutral" to every version of DOND I see around the world rathed than say things like "My version is better, your version isn't as good" and things like that.

You lot are the biggest cynics EVER. WHY ON EARTH would the banker offer £26,000 when the only bigger sum is the £250,000 and the fallback is £20,000. Once that goes, the Banker can only make a profit of £1,000! Please think! Gah some of you need to fix up.

I'm not saying that your Banker should offer more. I'm just saying that our banker would offer that much because of the nature of Australian contestants and their "laid-back" style. Our banker knows that unless the offer was 30k at 5-box even if we follow your gameplay of 3 boxes to open, a lot of contestants would go on. Also our banker likes to put "joke" offers in the first or second rounds and I don't really have a problem with them because nobody ever takes a first or second offer on our version. One contestant took out the top four amounts in the first round and got the worst ever opening offer of 10c (about 5p!) despite the lowest amount on the board being 50c (about 25p). Lots of non-Australians say it may be stupid but most Australians can see the humor behind it and have a good laugh.

Just ignore him guys and I think Perry is impersonating him there as they both have the same IP address. (Spoiler) What is it with the Sunday games, they always seem to be the weakest. We've had low wins and gimmicks on most Sunday shows this season. That future offer of £18,000 was so over inflated anyway, as it would never have been that in a normal game and if he had taken out a blue we would all know he would take it so there was no exitment at all. Then it got worse when he had to make a pointless offer at 3 box. I knew the £50,000 was coming before it was revealed by the way the camera did a long shot from Tom to the box, so it was no surprise at all.

(Spoiler) I also think if he had dealt and taken a blue the Banker's Gamble would've been offered. Sunday's game was a car crash DOND. Gimmicks, sob stories and a terrible 1p kiss between Noel and Tom what the hell was that all about???
