Amazing that no one in todays game mentioned that it's the anniversary of when Laura became our first (and proper should I say) quarter millionaire. Anyway such a shame that this game ended in such a tragedy and he got some good offers too. I'd have seriously thought about taking £12,000 at that point, but I respect players who are brave. I wish he had won more, much more.

Tht 4th offer of £4,000 like u say Karl was rubbish a think a mite have offer 11k, 12k or maybe even £13k as the £20,000 and the £100,000 were still in tackt at that point, he was brave 2 go all the way tho but i might have considered a dealat £12,000

TBH, i actually wasn't terribly surprised that there was no mention of this being the 3rd anniversary of laura winning the £250k, given that noel's memory continues to get worse and worse... and while i don't disagree that jardi was brave to turn down that £12k, i knew that it was going to go pear shaped, seeing that there wasn't all that much time left

Who here reckons he will remember Alice's anniversary then on 12th March? I for one am as Noel tends to remember games with gimmicks and forced wins (namely those during the special shows) more, than the normal shows we like.

well he'll certainly remember it this year as it'll be the 1st anniversary - and it wouldn't surprise me if he remembered each subsequent anniversary as well, quite unlike with laura. it would highlight his clear love affair with gimmicks if he did
