Synopsis:

A very happy Judy joins the game today. With the run of 11 blues coming to the table we all hoped that the run had broken. At eight box Judy only had 1 red which was the £100,000 and 4 blues to which the Banker offered the second highest offer of £8,000. Judy was not sure if she should deal but the decision was made to, thankfully the decision was the correct one.

This is turning into quite an amazing run of blues at the Pound Table, but an even more amazing run is four consecutive games without future offers. Astounding!

Not that Judy didn't deserve the money - but why is the banker bending "the rules"!! "It would normally be £1,000 but for you £8,000" I posted this previosuly too. The banker has to stick to these so-called-rules! Its because another lady called Julie was told off for not playing on with honesty...and Noel even said to her "Are you sure, you would have gone there? Play on witn honesty!!" The banker ... OOF....HE just does not make sense

I never believe the Banker when he says 'for anyone else the offer would be...' because it's always such a low offer, and it's just done to make the present offer look bigger. The £1,000 - £8,000 example which dond mentioned is a classic example. There's absolutely no way it would have been £1,000 for everyone else. It just makes £8,000 look much bigger.

True. But why did he offer her £10,000 at one point? That was far too high (In my opninion)

It can't have been that high if it was rejected.

James, dond – I enjoyed watching Judy's 8K more than Julie's 75K for the reasons I expressed yesterday. I'm convinced that Julie must have known she would have been compensated had the £5 turned up in her box, whereas Judy knew there was no fall-back.
