Synopsis:

Another Love Week special today as Justin steps up to take on the Banker. He chooses Yaser with box 4 as his 'Love God' today, and will get an extra offer from the Banker when he chooses Yaser's box. Unfortunately he doesn't get off to a great start taking out the top 2 in the opening round, and struggles early on to improve things. He nearly uses the 'Love God' twist in the 1st box of the 4th round until he thinks it might be wiser to use it a little later. It proves a great move and his game starts to turn. He does use the 'Love God' as the 1st box of round 5 and gets an offer of £14,500, but decides to play on, and again it proves a good move. A rise in offer to £18,500 is enough for Justin to DEAL, but the Banker hasn't finished with Justin, and throws in his Banker's Gamble at the end. Justin struggles over the decision but does take up the Banker's challenge and gets a fantastic victory over him.

I have never been so confused by a player, at the third round I thought he was going to be a huge coward and take an offer slightly over 5,000 with the "love god", I was pleased he changed his mind, and then I thought 14,500 would be an instant deal but it wasn't so it made it a bit of a waste(he should have saved it for the next round) £18,500 was a good offer and I knew it was an inevitable deal but then to gamble with it (I have never been so shocked at someone accepting the banker's gamble) what a turn around! I would have offered £2,000 twice, then £4,500, £7,000, £9,000 for special box, 12,500 and then £17,000.

Well that ok start to love week soon came crashing down. Sob stories, rubbish offers and one of the most forced wins this season. No doubt this will be on Noel's hall of fame, unless he forgets since his memory is bad although the producers will probably remind him.

I know most people would have disliked this game however, I absoloutley enjoyed it! I didn't mind the Banker's gamble because £18,500 would've been offered had he been in active play anyway. Its also amazing that he took out £100,000 and £250,000 in the opening round only to win the next highest amount! £75k. Brill! Enjoy the money Justin. Also Joe, how was there any sob stories? You're just being overly critical. Love week isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The additional offer should be stuck to special shows; so the extra offer for this week is perfectly fine. So you cant classify it was an extra gimmick because you didn't complain about these extra offers on special shows before, you're only complaining now to add a list of how much you dislike DOND. I really didn't want Justin to take the gamble, it was too much. Suppose the banker's gamble added a nice twist, so it should be kept in some cases. But don't give me the 'I check the timings, so I knew there time for a gamble' .... why would you WANT to spoil it for yourselves then? If you avoid doing it, the BG will surprise you. Obviously some just do it so they can complain some more. PS if you always say you're entitled to your opinion, so am I, I'm just stating mine so you can't be hypocrtical and attack me for saying positive things about the show *cough* JOE.

We're not saying that the show and the fact they try to come up with changes are bad. It's just not everyone is going to like the special shows and new twists - Banker's Gamble, future offers, offer after every box or in between rounds etc. All i'm simply trying to point out to everyone is that I don't like it when they win the big money by the Banker's Gamble, regardless of whether it would have been the same offer in active play. I like to see it done the normal way by No Dealing six times to the end, as that shows bravery just like what Corrine did. The Banker's Gamble clearly removes the whole point of saying No Deal, because all you have to do is deal and then hope you leave one of the big numbers with a low blue, low red or a situation where it is likely to be offered and then you'll just be allowed to possibly win more or keep your current money. Where as if you No Deal you risk losing it all, get the point. Also it does seem unfair to players like Corrine, Morris and Kirsty who all tried so hard to win the £250,000 and failed, where as Alice, Mel and Ellen won it easier.

His fiancee so nearly got him to stick with the 18.5K. I wish there had been time for a bit more post-game analysis. And I think Betty gave back 19K in May 08, so Noel was nearly right.

LOL this is almost exactly what happened yesterday on the Australian version of DOND. The player took a deal for 17,990 and left 10 and 100,000 at the end. The Banker offered him the Chance (our version of Banker's Gamble) and even the host was shocked and said "He must have forgotten to take his medication!" Could he have been influenced by the UK Banker? Perhaps. In any event, the contestant surprisingly declined this opportunity (about 90% would have taken it no doubt) and he had the 100k all along.

Yes you are right British Leyland. I think something strange happened in Jean's game, there was no offer when we got down to two boxes. She'd already dealt at 20K and there was only 10K and 20K left, so we knew the offer was not going to be significant ... perhaps I just missed it.

What a fantastic game! £75K means that this is now the biggest win of Series 5 and 2010. I'm glad to see that there is no gimmicks at 5 box and I think the God of Love box is a nice addition. The first two offers were a joke. £3,000 twice? Come on, no one is gonna deal at offer 1 or 2 with low amounts like that. Accepting the Gamble was certainly very brave, I don't think I would've done that. I'd have been happy enough with £18,500. Also, the Banker pitched that Gamble correctly, since the offer would've probably been that same amount if Justin was in live play.

Is there a time limit for a contestant to say Deal or No Deal in the UK? Because over here, you only have about 60 seconds to do so. Otherwise the Banker can choose to one of the following: Drop the offer (you get a new 60 seconds), he will automatically consider you have said DEAL or he will automatically consider you have said NO DEAL. Today's contestant took too long to consider an offer and his offer was lowered by 20%.

No we get as long as we like to make our decision. I mean you could take like 15 minutes if you like and the producers will find some way of editing it out in order for it to be 45 minutes long. I guess the UK version isn't as bad when you watch the other versions. Lets hope it keeps it's reputition and doesn't sink as low as the US and AUS. No offence by the way Austraila DOND.
