Synopsis:

No rest for Noel as he gets another manic game today with Karen! A good opening round sets up a strong game, even with a minor setback in the 2nd round. Things soon pick up again and Karen is on course for another strong finish. The Banker pitches a testing offer of £35,000 in the 5th round, but with the big money still in play Karen goes for it. The final round doesn't quite work out for Karen, although she does keep some big money in play and gets the Banker to wheel out his 'old faithful' of £26,000 which is gladly accepted by Karen.

Again fantastic lady and that has got to be one of the strongest 5 box situations in a while. But that £35,000 offer was a joke it should have been in the regions of £60,000. I think the banker was trying to force her to gamble so she could possibly win big for the ratings but maybe i'm digging to deep. Just a shame the 250k went, cuz I really thought for the first time in a long, long time we would see a player left with the 250k and one of the power five as a backup. I can't remember the last time someone left the quarter million with a large backup in active play. Still at least she got 'old faithful' 26 grand which was an amazing offer.

I assume if she had left the £250,000 with the £50,000 the offer would be £125,000 or even £150,000 which is right in the middle. If she had left the dream senario, the 100k/250k then her offer would have been £170,000. When oh when are we going to get a gutsy player who wins over £100,000 it's been 2 years now.

mind u, the last few times the banker has got a player out of the chair with £26k, it hasn't quite worked out as he would have liked... perhaps if it stays like this then he should come up with a new 'old faithful'? like the £16,500 that, as noel still hasn't grasped, is one of the most common offers, and has resulted more often than not in players missing out on much more...

£7,500, £16,500, £17,500, £26,000 and £35,000 are the offers he pitches a lot. Although £35,000 is almost always offered whenever someone has a strong board, and sometimes its a really weak offer.

He sometimes offers £14,999 because that use to be £1 less from Debbie and Ingerlise who had the £250,000 in their box and dealt at £15,000 which was the biggest banker victory ever until Sylvia who dealt at £12,500 and this other guy (can't remember his name) who dealt at £9,000 I think.

Yeah Melanie dealt at £10,000 and had the quarter of a million and then Tolleck beat that again by dealing at £9,000 and had the £250,000
