She blew it big time!
xxxxx.ipt.aol.comNooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! I wanted her to do well!
xxxxx.as1.blp.dublin.eircom.netAww poor her I was almost crying for her!!! poor poor her!!!
xxx.80.22.131shame she didnt go all the way to the end!
xxxxx.proxy.aol.comI think I'm the only one who thought she did the right thing here. Think back to the moment of the 29k offer, and the board. If she had taken out the 250k box at any point, there's only the 75 and 20k to fall back on, along with 2 blues. If the 250 had gone, she would have been lucky to be offered anything near 29k. The possibility of taking out both the 250 and the 75k was also very real and, given that she was doing this 'for her kids', she absolutely made the right decision, absolutely. I hate all that crap about 'you blew it" - that's so easy to say once the box has been opened and everyone knows. I feel the offer could have been a bit higher (and I think it would have been if it was a man -that's just my impression of the banker's attitude -I am male btw) but she was right not to risk what that very decent amount of money would do for her and her kids - clothes, holiday, freedom from mortgage for a year, bills, savings, kids' education..whatever. I'll say it again, I don't care what was in her box, given the offer and the boxes left, she made the right choice, completely, and I hope she reads this comment and feels better when she calms down and reflects.
xxxxx.virtua.com.brp.s - people have had stronger boards and left with much much less than her. I was so sorry she was upset, and I just wanted to have a word in her ear and tell her she had done the right thing, not gambling with her kids' money. She made the right choice, given what she knew at the time. After you deal, the rest is just fantasy.
xxxxx.virtua.com.brI agree with Muzz 100% - I don't think it was anything like as stupid a decision as some people are making out I think it was a low offer, but even so it would be daft to go on when a worse situation was reasonably likely there was a 1 in 10 chance of what did actually happen

xxxxx.ipt.aol.comGO MUZZ!!!!! TOTALLY AGREE WITH U. I THINK YOU WOULD MAKE A COOL PRESENTER ON DEAL OR NO DEAL. Because when someone could of won more money, Noel has to bloody rub it in!!
xxxxx.cosh.broadband.ntl.comAnd she lost because she fell for the banker's charms! She was fooled, not to mention robbed!
xxxxx.weston.ac.ukthe mean was way higher than £50,000 nevermind £30,000 or the fair deal the deal was statistically stupid I remember back at the time i was laughing and I still chuckle every now and again :P That was in the day of absolutely rock bottom courage and zero power 5 box openings (near enough). nowadays we get some good box wins and when we get no early deals the show pulls in more viewers (statistically proven!)
xxxxx.nott.cable.ntl.comand muzz, she wasn't gambling with the kids money because they never had it. She never had a penny of her own cash on the line now if she dealt and then was offered the chance to undeal, then she would be gambling it. you can easily say 'it could have easily gone the other way' but that chance was so unlikely it's not worth thinking about. Its like, don't cross the road because there is a small chance you will get run down. How many times have we seen massive value boxes blown for a inferior deal. plenty. the crashes mostly happen when players carry on with unstable boards. this board was as stable as it gets !
xxxxx.nott.cable.ntl.comAt least one of the other contestants should have spoken up and told Kelsie what they thought of the offer and what the Banker might be trying to get at. Then she might not have made such a bad deal.
xxxxx.nuim.ie£36,000 wouldve been a nice offer but still wouldn't be to much the banker shouldve offer atleast £40,000 29k to cheap
xxxxx.range86-142.btcentralplus.comthis was one of my favourite games of all time, not because of the actual gameplay but because of the personality of kelsie. so so sorry that you had the jackpot but great game never the less.
