Synopsis:

Noel hints at a psychic ability with Lauren today, and she has written 2 amounts down that she thinks she could possibly end up with in her box. This seems to worry the Banker as even with a dodgy opening round he still throws in a high offer. The game starts to go downhill through the mid-part, but Lauren does slowly pull things back and has a perfect final round setting up a very challenging finish. She keeps faith in her belief of a high number in her box and turns down a very tempting £17,000.

Lauren played a memorable game and she played it in the right style. Didn't show any emotions, give too much away and no sob stories at all. She totally deserved to win £35,000 after being so brave as well.

Well we start June off with 2 unlucky games. This is the penultimate month of Season 4, isn't it? And will there be any special episodes this month?

There won't be any special episodes this month unless they think of a new idea which wasn't in last season. But there'll be plenty of other gimmicks to compensate.

I so haven't been watching DOND properly, I don't know why. Oh well, guess it was because of the exams and stress. Wow, she played a good game by the looks of it. Oh and I think the next £250,000 member might be male. (If there ever will be a season 5. Doubt we're gonna have a 3rd £250,000 winner in season 4

That is unless we get the Banker's Gamble. Now as for today's game the Banker ruined it by one of his gimmicks of future offers. I would definatley carry on with David's board and I would've gone on if the offer had been £42,000 as well because there would still be three numbers higher. I was willing him to go on, but it's his game and I can't complain as it will just make everyone on this site go beserk.

I actually have a funny feeling the £250,000 club might be for women only, and if the next £250,000 winner is a woman, I'm having another feeling the woman might be aged between 20 and 30, because I know the ages of Laura and Alice (Laura's 26 and Alice's 21).

How can you be so sure about that though, I know this show has some strange gimmicks and all, but it's not fixed. Otherwise the show would be axed, I don't know if there will be another £250,000 winner for a while or if there will be one at all. All I can say is I hope it's not forced like Alice's.

Calm down Perry I was only saying her name anyway when are you all going to admit that her game was forced. As for today great game it's been a very long time since someone had an all red 5 box, last time I saw that was in Ian's game from the christmas stars. I actually would have gambled with that board because i'd be garanteed to go away with at least a small consolation.

I actually would have gone on at £17,500 because there were still two huge numbers still on the board backed up by 20k and 15k. Yes I know it could easily go the other way and that it's easy when your at home, but seriously I would definatley have gone on. Probably would have dealt at the 5th offer though.

This week we've had some really good games, Luaren, David and Ruby. As for today's game that was a complete nightmare, HONEST A GOD. I lost track of how many sob stories he had, if anyone hasn't watched Sunday's game yet DON'T!!! trust me it was awful. He didn't deserve good offer either, I switched it off after he started crying so I don't know what happened and I don't care. Got to be one of the worst Deal or No Deal episodes in a long, long time

Mixed feelings about Sunday's game. On the one hand it was gimmick-free, which is always a good sign, but on the other hand the player had more sob stories than an average episode of Britain's Got Talent, and once again when a player deals you're always hoping that he isn't left with an end-game situation which permits the Banker's Gamble. In other words, watching post-deal rounds has now become a chore.

As much as i'm sick of seeing the word gimmick on here, i just can't help but notice that june has always seemed to have been a hot spot for them. 2006 - Double Deal Week and the Tennis themed boxes in Ryan's Game (June 26) 2007 - The first 'dream offer' with 1k Paul (June 8) 2008 - The banker's curse, the pilgrims all getting a bottle of champers after Don broke the curse on it's (the curse) last show, and of course the 1 pound bet in Melissas game. 2009 - Just future offers galore really.....
