A horrible opening round for Laurence is followed by even more bad luck as his game just gets worse in every round! The Banker struggles with an offer at the end of the 4th round so offers a swap! Laurence declines this and keeps his box, but it doesn't' change his luck. At the end of the 5th round the Banker tries to tempt Laurence to play on and become the unluckiest player ever by offering an offer after every box in the final round. With little choice Laurence takes up the offer and continues his ill-fortune by hitting his only red in the 1st box! This gets an offer of £10 which is declined, after the 2nd box the offer is 4p, which is again declined.

What a horrendous game this has got to be up there with Derrick Brown and Nikki Tucker. I loved it when Noel admitted that his memory wasn't great but when he asked the production team if there had been an all blue 8 box and they said no I was shocked. Their memories must surely be terrible if they can't even remember Chris's game which was only a year ago. Also I think that's the first time someone has left the lowest three amounts at three box, 1p, 10p and 50p. So at least Laurence can be in the hall of fame for that, however i'm sure Noel, the Banker and everyone else will remember that. Lets see how long it is until they forget this game.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comI wish he had dealt at 2p though cuz he would have tied up with Igor as the lowest deal ever.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comI was hoping he would deal at 4p or 2p just for a laugh but he really did enter the 1p with style, no doubt if they play hall of fame games of unluckiness this summer, this will be one of them, this game was so like Nicky Tuckers with most of the offers being a few pence or a couple of pounds, it was almost as if the banker knew this game was going to be a disaster though because his opening rounds were bad but £11 and £1,100 were unjustifiable, 11p was just funny
xx.149.242.165hahahahahahahahahahaaaa!!! Greedy scottish wanker, should have dealt at £1,100. So glad he won 1p.
xxxxx.range81-147.btcentralplus.comLook blixa if u can't say anything nice (which obviously u can't) then don't bother sayin anything atall!
xx.240.74.71A horrible, disasterous game from start to finish! I demand that Laurence should have a another go and win more that 1p! The team are to blame in my opinion for his downfall! Really hoped he'd gone back to Scotland with a decent amount!
xxxxx.range86-163.btcentralplus.comblixa how is he greedy for declining £1,100? its not as if thats a big sum of money anyway!!
xxxxx.leed.cable.ntl.comWell said xonia I cudnt have said it better myself.
xx.240.74.71I doubt that the sixth comment is Laurence himself as he and blixa have the same IP address. It looks like the runners of this site are fed up of him by now, that they can't be bothered to block him permanently.
xxxxx.bb.sky.com(SPOILER) We've only got a few more weeks left till the end of the season and I think we can all officially say that this has been the worst game not of the month but the entire season. This was more extreme than watching Enlgand lose to Germany in the world cup. How can someone so stupid as the Banker offer the gamble in that situation, has he lost his mind. This was definatley a fix by mile, as soon as her friend in the audience said that she had a dream of the 1p and £75,000 to the end I knew she would leave thme two to the end. I wasn't surpised at all when the Banker offered the Gamble as there was still 10 minutes left as Noel was about to open the box, so it was no surprise at all. I was hoping she'd away with 1p as she didn't deserve a penny of that £75,000. I almost wish this show was axed, if it carries on as it is then i'm going to stop watching after having remained loyal to it since the beginning.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comOh and sorry about any grammer or spelling erros made. I type to quickly sometimes and can't be bothered to check through.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comIt did seem fixed, I've been a fan for deal or no deal for long time, It would have been a good game if she had declined a five box offer like 5,000, no over inflated box at a time (28,000?) and if she had the courage to decline around 15,000, she doesn't deserve it, this has to be the most desirable game ever for someone who wants to win big, just have to give back 7,000 to win 75,000- how easy!!!, most horrible game ever!! twice as bad as Bel's game in January because she actually won it, there was no tension when the box was being opened for me, whereas with Sonia's game there was as she declined 3,000 more to win less than half of 75,000! Banker has went back to stupid banker gambles big style, only sort of acceptable banker's gamble is Justins in my opinion
xx.243.146.79Oh will u 2 shut the fk up so what if the gamble woz offered she was brave to gamble 7 grand for a chance to win 1p and also its not a fix its a great game nomatta what u idiots say enjoy 75k cheryl darlin
xxxxx.london.02.netWell if she can't have the courage to go at least one box at a time then she definitely doesn't deserve it. I'll bet Noel and everyone else will disagree and say they loved it. Don't be surprised if Noel puts this in his hall of fame if there is one at the end of the season. In Noel's top 10, Alice, Cheryl, Ellen and all other forced wins will be at the top and Laura, Corrine, Morris, Graeme etc will all be at the botton. I'm sure Noel's preparing a speech for tommorrow's game now. He'll say something like Cheryl showed real courage and had great beleif and determination despite dealing at £7,000, not brave enough to go one box at a time and accept a joke of a Banker's gamble. This show definitely needs a revamp for season 6 and here's some ideas. New presenter who isn't obsessed with gimmicks and forced wins, new Banker who does his job properly, start looking for players who are determined to make the most of their opportunity in the crazy chair (like the ones we had in season 1, 2 and even 3 as we had players like Daniel, Orry and Betty) and most importantly get rid of all gimmicks and special shows. There that should be enough to revamp the show and make it better. This will be my last comment for today as I need a break and everyone will have a go at me if I don't stop now, even though I am just giving my personal opinion and not hurting anyone.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comJoe, she is obviously brave for risking losing £7,000 and taking 1p, The bankers gamble is part of the game and if you don't like it then don't bother complaining about it! DOND has been due a big win and we have finally found it!! You should be really happy!
xxxxx.leed.cable.ntl.comUr right by sayin dond is due a big win but both joe and me think it shud be doin by the players no dealing six times instead of winning big via the bankers gamble.
xx.240.74.71Just to let you all know, the Australian DOND was the first DOND version to have this sort of gamble at the end but the UK version seems to use it at the wrong times. The gamble is designed to be used when the amount you have to return is roughly 30% of the top figure avaliable. So the gamble should only be offered if the amount to you have to return is 22.5k in this case. Also the Australian DOND uses the gamble much less frequently than the UK version which seems to use it at almost every opportunity rather than once every 30 such opportunities in Australia. Also because the gamble has been part of the game here from very early on in the show's history, we are used to it and don't view it as that much of a gimmick.
xxxxx.dyn.iinet.net.auI don't think shows are fixed, but I do see in every single game Noel making players No Deal. Noel should let the players play it as they wish, not to be forced by Noel trying to make the game more exciting. But I agree that contestants should be picked that will make the most of the opportunity. And if you pick contestants that have great personalities then you don't have to rely on the boxes being good and big offers/wins. Also, Cheryl did technically spend £7,000 which she HAD on a 50/50 chance of either winning 1p or £75,000, so that shows bravery. Whilst the bankers gamble was a bad thing to offer because the loss wasn't too dramatic, you have to credit her for accepting the offer and winning big. I do sort of agree that the bankers gamble is too frequent.
xx.144.68.146ALSO, WHY is the banker continually letting players go on one box at a time and upping his offers whenever they ask for it? If he was a real BANKER (and supposedly a horrible evil one which they say he is), surely he wouldn't keep making it easier for the players?? This takes away some of the tension of people no-dealing at 5 box, because it just becomes too easy.
xx.144.68.146I like ur thinkin there H, A just wish 1 of those players on the show felt the same and had the the guts 2 actually say 2 the banker ;stuff ur gimmicks up ur jumper' lol, that wasnt quite the word a was thinking of but it will do lol.
