It doesn't all go the Banker's way though, as a final round crash produces yet another spanking for him.

£25,000 was an amazing offer at 5 box, if I can remember it's probably the second highest offer at 5 box when the 75k, 100k is still on the board. Highest is £30,000 when Susan played on 27th February 2007. Great result from Loo, I probably might have dealt as well.

(Spoiler) As for today's game not the most exiting at all and after two great games from yesterday and Tuesday. You could tell that she wasn't going to gamble as she was young, at university and couldn't handle the pressure. It's funny that most young people on the show are very cautious, yet i'm 19 and I would have definatley gone to the end in today's game. Oh by the way I switched my TV off when she was left with the last 2 boxes because I knew what was coming and didn't want to see that since I hate it so much. Oh and I am not complaining, this is just my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

i agree Joe everyone is right to there opinions but i wudve declined that 5th offer it was too low £16,500+ id take if it was my highest offer in the game i did actually like todays game because now im gonna SPOIL IT so dont read this if u dont wanna know £50,000 is alot of money ive seen anyone win in ages i dont think i remember the last person to win that i know he offered the bankers gamble again n to be honest i thought that was over but i was wrong however atleast she was brave n went for it i wudve done the same if i was her but i wudnt deal at £10,000 not with that when theres 3 higher than the offer but still great game n great result £50,000 enjoy the money. ----------- now im gonna talk about loo's game again great game i wudve gone on at £25,000 it was a good offer i admit but theres 2 powerfives in play like ive always sed id carry if they were 2 or more in play but great game well done Loo sorry i rabited on a bit there

I think the gamble was alright in her game because what she dealt at, would have been the offer (approx) at that stage, so it was like her declining £x at that stage. Its only annoying when someone deals at something really low and have the chance for WAYYY more.

Nah i think the offer wud be more than £10,000 in this game £15-£18,000 i think the offer wud be to be honest but i see what u mean dond i think the gamble is reasonable if thats what he wud offer what they dealt at if that makes sense. say if they dealt at £25,000 and they had £750 and £75,000 or £100,000 and the gamble was offered id understand it too coz thats what he wud offer in live play neways so dunt make a difference that shud explain it a bit better.

Deal or No Deal has officially gone down then, yet again another cautious boring player who doesn't have the guts to go all the way to the end is offered the banker's gamble and ends up winning more. I'm sorry but I hate it when that happens because in my opinion only the bravest and gutsy players deserve to win anything in the power five sums or in fact any thing meatsy at all and if that is what happened today, then it was a player who wasn't brave and gutsy at all. I don't put her in the £50,000 hall of fame.

Players like Saj, Barry and Jon (although his last offer was a poor £9,500 it didn't include the banker's gambler) all were couragous players who are in the £50,000 club, just like all other players who have won big sums either in their box, or as an offer are hall of famers. Player's who are offered the banker's gamble or are forced by low offers just show that they're not as couragous and are pretty much dull and boring people.

I don't know why everyone else likes the banker's gamble because I surely do not. Think about it the rules of the show use to be that if you Deal then your garanteed the money you've been offered no matter what and if you say No Deal then your risking either going away with a blue or possibly much, much more. The banker's gamble ruins the whole point of saying Deal or No Deal, there's no point in having Deal as an option cuz you'll just be allowed back into live play. I agree with what James said a while ago, they should call this show Deal for Now or No Deal.

xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.com

James said...

As I've said many times before, there was no point in saying no deal to the £10,000 offer today because if she was left with the £50,000 - which she was - then she'd just be allowed back in live play anyway (assuming the other amount was a blue and not one of the lower reds). If you ever go on the show, then you may as well say deal to any offer and know that if there's a bigger sum in the last two, you may be allowed to win that.

Great game today and yes it was much, much better than yesterday's. Even though the £70,000 offer wasn't a great offer, it's still a lot of money in anyones life and especially since his morgage is cleared off now. I also would've gambled at that point too, I would be totally happy with 20k but that's only because I can afford to gamble. If he had offered the same offer as Morris then I would have dealt. At least today's didn't involve any gimmicks such as the banker's gamble, future offers etc.

Really though I think he could have had a better offer if he didn't give to much away. If anyone heard what he said earlier he said what he wanted to do if he won a lot of money and how anything from £50,000 or more would do that. With my experience and knowledge of this show as i've watched it for over 3 years now, I reckon that had he not said anything about that his final offer would have been more maybe £90,000. Still though he was brave to turn down £17,500 and I don't think that was a poor offer but I was expecting it to be £20,000.

And we all remember Morris i think if more contestants were more like him we have alot more big winners Morris who had the same climax as he did got offered £101,000 which id go for it too. but today i think £70,000 was a joke and that 5th offer of £17,500 its worth the gamble but i dnt blame tdays player for dealing at £70,000 because he did need it n ive gotta admit i got a bit emotional in this game lol but like i sed if more contestants were more like morris they'd be more big winners.

Don't forget Daniel, although he didn't leave the 250k to the end I reckon he would have gone all the way as well. If only he hadn't picked Norman's box which contained the quarter million and gone the other way then he would have had a 50k/250k climax which would have been really interesting. I don't think we have ever had a 50k/250k climax before, not in live play anyway. I assum the offer would have been £125,000 or even £150,000 right in the middle, but even then I still think Daniel would have gone for it.

I found it so amusing that Noel referred to Morris, but didn't remind everyone he was offered £101,000 as he know the banker wouldnt offer that for Eddie. I would have dealt at £17,500 for the first time. If I was Ed and got to the last round, I would have declined £70,000 which was a poor offer. Even worse than Andy's £50,000 one, although that was good with the cake gimmick.

Oh and Mel's gamble wasnt too bad if you think about it. Asuming the banker's gamble is the offer, and the offer is what you dealt at, then Mel's £x win wasn't too far off what would have been offered at that point. It was like her declining £x at that point so the banker's gamble was fair in her game. I would count that in the hall of fame. Its funny, you count PJ in the 1p club he was offered the swap, but Julie isn't, because she won the higher amount??

Another thing that was a shame was that the final offer wasn't in the £100,000s. I really thought for the first time in 3 years we would get an offer over £100,000. Believe it or not the last time someone was offered over £100,000 was Graeme Garioch back in May 2007. God that was an incredible game, that's 3 people i've mentioned who were really couragous. I wish Deal or No Deal would show highlights of all the highest winners and the ones who weren't forced by low offers or the banker's gamble.

What they should do instead of all these silly special shows they keep doing is a week were all previous player come back and play the game, but instead for their chosen charaties. They could even do a double deal week like they did in the summer of 2006 when the world cup was on, that's when it was on twice each night and a previous player would be in the audience. Oh and another great idea would be a celebrity Deal or No Deal, that would be really good cuz I think some of them would be tempted to gamble, even though it wouldn't be there money. Jon Culshaw should definatley be one of the celebs cuz he was ace.

Well Ian's game was quite good who played on last christmas eve. He became only the second player to achieve what Kirsty did back in April 2006 where he got the top 3 biggest amounts at 5 box backed with 1k and 3k, an all red 5 box. I really didn't think he would win 71k and boy that was an amazing offer, the only thing that spoilt it was the banker's gamble at the end. This might seem crazy but I might have been tempted to carry on cuz there were still 3 numbers higher than that and i've always said if I got to 5 box and there were 3 numbers higher than the offer i'd carry on.

Oh and that £60,000 was really good. Especially compared to Laura's £45,000 offer. I would offer £50,000 if it was a blue/low red climax with 250k. I'd only offer in excess of £60k if the climax was like £15k+ and I'd only offer over £100k if it was a power 5-250k.
