A fantastic opening round receives a equally good opening offer from the Banker, but a good 2nd round is followed by an out of the blue 'Box Swap' offer from the Banker! Maria declines the chance to swap and sticks with her box. Her luck then turns as she goes on a terrible run of taking out the power 5 amounts and destroying her game. She ploughs on and does manage to turn things around, but sets herself up with an all or nothing finish and decides to take the Banker's final offer of £8,000.

A fantastic game with a very brave player, Maria played the game exactly how it should be played, and I am so pleased that she got the £8,000 as it is obvious that that money is going to be life changing for her. I know she could have won more from her box but £8,000 is a very very good result and I am so glad she was still happy with it after the £35,000 was revealed. Well done Maria, Enjoy £8k!!!!
xxxxx.7-1.cable.virginmedia.com£8,000 may have been a rubbish offer but with the risk of ending up with £50, what can you do? That gimmick at round 5 was stupid though. Had she have found that blue I think she would've dealt at £6,000.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comI swear I loved todays game but the Banker offering the swap when she had the six highest amounts REALLY annoyed me. It was like he deliberately wanted to avoid giving her a high offer. Needless to say WELL DONE Maria!
xxxxx.perr.cable.virginmedia.comLinda's deal of £6,000 worked and now it has worked for Maria. It seems that the Banker has gone back to his old ways by offering low and swaps with strong boards. Either this is because he knows the players are not willing to risk so little for so much more or it's because this recession.
xxxxx.1-1.cable.virginmedia.comOh and since I haven't done this in a while my offers would've been £12,500, £20,000, £8,000, £4,500, £10,000 and £16,500.
xxxxx.1-1.cable.virginmedia.comYeah Joe I was thinking the exact same figures would have been good offers, although last three offers I'd be more along the lines of 3,000, 8,000 and 12,000, 1,800 and £500 were appalling offers, the banker has went back to being an idiot again :(
xx.146.90.128And as Maria had a reputation on having the big money in her box, Janet has got herself with a reputation for having very low money amounts in hers.
xxxxx.7-1.cable.virginmedia.comI'd never offer above £10,000+ with a £35,000-blue climax. I'd have offered £8,500-£9,500.
