Things soon heat up though and the game starts to sparkle as the offers rise. With a great board and the offer sitting at £16,102, Martin starts to falter and think of his family, which leads to an early deal. This proves disastrous as the game shows it would have finished with a BANG!

Funny how the offers are ridiculously high after the player has dealt (that £51,000 in particular is one of the worst cases I've ever seen) but remain positively low (or at least during this season) when the player is still in live play. It's now bordering on outrageous. It's no good spanking the Banker in gameplay terms, can someone please give him a spanking for real!

Even I would have carried on. The 51k offer was a lie...but the 102k was probably true.

I suppose he did have his family reasons for dealing, but even so, this was a real donut of a deal considering the board! Dare I say it, it reminds me of that awful man called Richard whose name lives in infamy!!!

this game reminded me a bit of richard too. i'm probably sounding very cruel here but martin thought about his family too much. was it as though they really would have minded if he had gone on and it crashed? even if he had, say, fallen back 2 £10,102, would they really have been unhappy bcause he lost 6 grand by not dealing?
