Synopsis:
Melissa was determined from the start to break the Bankers' curse of no-one winning more than £20,000. It was a fantastic game with it's fair share of mind games from the Banker. After an offer of just 11p from the Banker Melissa took a hit with the £250,000 going. In the final offer with £20,000 and £10 remaining the Banker placed a £1 bet with Melissa, so that if £20,000 was in her box she would win £20,001 and break the Banker's curse.

xxx.242.159.218ARGH! So close! The Banker must have breathed an enormous sigh of relief when Melissa's box was opened. I have to admit I was sure she had the £20k - she had the courage, the positivity and of course the determination to break the Banker's curse. But, yet again, such qualities are not rewarded, and the Banker must be crossing his fingers now, hoping that the last few survivors from Richard's game will also fail to have good luck.
