A fairly good start for Michelle today, but a dramatic crash in the 3rd round really sets the tone for the later part of her game, as she can't shake her run of bad luck. Michelle chases what little money is left in the game, but is left with an all-or-nothing finish with the 1p still in play. A final attempt to change her luck with a box swap doesn't pay off and Michelle becomes the 23rd member of the 1p club.

Mixed feelings about Michelle's game. On one hand I really wanted her to do well, and it was a shame that the worst case senario happened but on the other, it was gimmick-free which I like of course. Oh and those last 3 offers were a JOKE, I had a feeling that after yesterday's game (which produced really high offers) that the Banker would go back to his old 'poor offering' ways again
xxxxx.bb.sky.comHas anyone noticed there have been so many rounds in this season where two of the largest sums of money including £250,000 go in a round and they have a crash of like 10,000 + even early on, and in this season, Russ, Mary, Stephen,Shirley, Martin all had rounds with £100,000 and £250,000 going in the same round and it was all early into the game. I can never remember seeing so many rounds like this in a few weeks, there have also been players that have done this. There have been earlier times this has happened too like Milly and Kyle, It just goes to show the quarter of a million and 100 thousand can go so quickly at any time
xxxxx.dynamic.dsl.as9105.comI know these things can go either way. I have a question for all of you. Who are your best and worst 1p winner's? My best are Nick, Trevor, Sharron, and Matty. My worst are PJ and the one during Christmas Star last year.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comAhhh what terrible luck by swapping and then winning the 1p.
xxxxx.cable.ubr06.perr.blueyonder.co.uki guess any sort of a reunion show for the 1p club members is ruled out now that we're up to 23... meanwhile noel said in his introduction that he thought this game would build on sharna's. i can't recall the last time he's jinxed a game before the player has even been announced...
xx.134.156.16I do agree it does get on my nerves when Noel drags out that the 1p is still on the board, as he usually jinxes it when that happens not that it's fixed. Also that talk about newbie Owain changing his clothes wasn't funny either. That's another thing that gets on my nerves, when he drags the show out by talking about random things to the players. Anyone agree.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comBTW, my best 1p winners are nick, sally and the seriously beautiful katie walsh, while my worst is PJ. i have to say, though, that i haven't found any of the 1p wins since matty's to b especially memorable
xx.134.156.16Well I can say that 2 ppl I'm rele glad that won 1p was matty I rele didnt like him at all n Fadil was another 1 becauase he got a bit greedy I know It was a low offer but It was his highest and even I wouldve taken that because It's my highest offer If It wasnt then fine I wud go 4 It he was brave though I'll give him that and then theres people who I wish didnt win It that would be Katie, Trevor, and Giorgio because there were great and very brave players.
xxxxx.range81-157.btcentralplus.comthe best game I can remember who won 1p is Katie's game as it was going so well and then crashed so badly, I mean from 23,500 to 1p, but she dealt with it so well. The thing that I did like about the christmas star's game on christmas day was that it showed everyone it wasn't fixed, didn't see the game though. He won £50 on boxing day also, I was kind of expecting all the players to win huge after Christmas eve's game and the £71,000 win
xxxxx.dynamic.dsl.as9105.comThat reminds me does anyone know if the Christams Stars are returning this year? Hopefully not, as I prefer the normal 22 players.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comGreat game 2day with Sid. Well done for going 2 then end nd getting 10k, he deserves every penny of what he won :).
xxxxx.zone5.bethere.co.ukThe Xmas Stars applications would have been advertised by now if they were happening, so I don't think they are. Instead I think we're going to have gimmick-filled games potentially with a £500,000 jackpot like at Christmas 2006.
xxxxx.readingconnect.netWell that would be good as long as it's like the 2006 ones. Somehow I fear there will be more gimmicks than there were in 2006 if they did. By the way James do you have msn, I can give you my address if you like. Don't worry i'll just block off any contacts if they're people like No Dealer etc.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comNow I hope they do double the jackpot again but who knows it cud be gimmicks involved it cud not but I just hope they dont make a half a million pounds winner by the bankers gamble or with any other serious gimmick involved.
xxxxx.range81-157.btcentralplus.comYeah I agree with you there, god that would kill me if that happened. I can just imagine someone like Alice playing, deals at say £30,000 and the Banker decides "Oh I know what i'll do", "I'll offer the Banker's Gamble so I can possible give £470,000 more. It would be like lending some money to a friend and you say "Here have some more just for the sake of it". How much lower can the show possibly get?
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comThats a good point, if they do a £500,000 jackpot game an its gonna b won it shud b won like how laura won the 1/4 mill, instead of the b/g like how alice won.
xx.240.88.173What would be good is if someone left the £250,000 and £500,000 as the last 2. Then the offer would be massive say £375,000, mind you i'd probably go for it at that point.
