Amount in their Box: £5
Highest Offer: £18,000
Lowest Offer: £2,500

Synopsis:

Pat follows the recent trend of having a shakey opening round, and like many others before her fails to find any luck early on in her game. Infact things don't really improve until there is a totally out of the blue lifeline from the Banker at the 5th round offer. He tells Pat that if she plays on to the end she will receive an offer after every box in the final round! Pat takes up this chance, and after her 1st box of the final round she gets an offer of £9,000 which she refuses. After the 2nd box of the round she gets an offer of £18,000, which proves enough for Pat and she deals. It proves a great move on her part, but leaves the Banker with egg on his face.

Yet another game where the player is given an offer after every box for no good reason.

Totally urelated to Pat's game but this is in reference to Michelle's game (today: 13th July) I actually enjoyed it and would have dealt at £3,333. Good on her for showing a little more courage and getting £18,000. That was a very clever offer, especially because the 1p was there. With a 100,000-1p climax I'd offer the same as the banker did in this game.

As I said before why should she be allowed to get an offer after each box, just because she had a sob story I thought the Banker didn't care. Anyway yes at last a completley free gimmick game and that £18,000 was a good offer I admitt, I probably would have dealt too. I really thoght she would have gone on though, although she might have swapped for box 8 which was on her card in which case she would have won 1p.

Well if your right then that means after three great games without any gimmicks it will come crashing down tommorrow, I just hope it doesn't involve a power five win (especially the £250,000) and that he doesn't accept the gamble. Any way today's game was quite good, he kep't toying with everyone that he was the independent of duplicator. That £19,000 was a good offer actually, another good game although it wouldn't have been if the 1p had been left with the £75,000.

It's really strange because have any of you guys noticed that every year in every season there is one episode where something strange happens and they actually include it when they could have just cut it out. In season one there was that incident where one of the players knocked a box over in Massimo's game, in season two there was a power cut in Kerry's game, in season three there was that incident where a box was empty in Reg David's game and now in season four we've had the incident where there was a flood in Adam's game and now tommorrow there will be another incident. Deal or No Deal is the only gameshow where it has so many problems that occurs each year.

Well after three great games without any gimmicks it all comes crashing down, there are so many things I could rant on about in Simon's game. I knew he would win the £35,000, i'm sure everyone knew the way it was dragged out and after what had happened to his wife (no offence by the way) they wouldn't let him go away with a blue. The only thing i disliked about this game was the fact that he dealt at a rubbish offer of £4,300 and got the chance to win £35,000. I thought the Banker only offered the gamble when the offer they dealt at would have been the final offer anyway, apparantly not. I was hoping he would go away with 10p as he doesn't deserve a penny of that £35,000. Expect more games like this to happen next week in the dreadful seaside specials.

Yeah and I hope the Banker takes some time off to work out that he's suppose to give as little money as possible instead of throwing money away. Also Noel's presenting styles are really annoying me now. For example today he said "You need to take 10p out" when the next (only) highest blue was £1. Then when the £5,000 was removed he said "I wanted to hold on to that" when the 35k and 20k were still remaining. Finally after Simon had dealt he said "If you are that bit braver, you can win mega money" does Noel understand the Banker's Gamble obviously not. All these I said are the Banker's fault really because they have affected Noel's presenting styles.

Just when we thought Friday's game couldn't have gotten worse, it did. Yet again another player comes out with a sob story and starts crying and acting so immature on TV. Again we have another player who gets an offer after each box for no good reason at all, i'm starting to fear that this will be a new gimmick on DOND where anyone who touches everyones heart will get an offer after each box. I'm glad she glad she declined the B/G, but she is one of the worst female players to play this month since Kerry's game. I'm starting to wish DOND was axed now.

It looks like the runners of this site have given up, shame I wanted to comment on some of the games last week. As for today I've only got one word for it TERRIBLE. It started out ok until the offers became crap, I mean that 2nd and 3rd offer was a joke. £9,180 and £12,500 when there was the 7 highest numbers still on the board. That £4,500 and £15,000 was a joke also, I would rather take my chances of going away with a blue than accept any of those rubbish offers. As for Dot, she didn't deserve that, I wanted her to spank the Banker and prove him wrong.

The banker was more sensible today with his offers I thought apart from £4,500, I would have offered £4,000, then £10,000, then £13,000 , then £12,000, 20,000 and then £100 and I would have forced her to swap the box and the banker did more or less the same so I liked this game

does anyone else notice the rather severe lack of originality in these special weeks? in most of them the player gets the opportunity at 5 box of an offer after every box if things go right, while if things go wrong the banker can look inside his or her box. and after the retention of the trick or treat thing at halloween and the good and bad eggs at easter, these summer specials are almost exactly the same as last year's - except with 'sun' and 'rain' ice creams in place of the 'sunshine' and 'sunburn' suitcases. one can complain to c4 and endemol about all this but they probably won't give a rat's behind

I wish I knew the number for Deal or No Deal or their e-mail address, because then i'd talk to them and complain about these special shows, gimmicks etc and ask them why they do it? Does it really gain more viewers? and Will you ever stop it or reduce it?

here's a good question for everyone - if there was to be a deal before the 5 box stage, as was the case with chris in last year's halloween specials, is it conceivable (sic) that the banker could come up with yet another new gimmick at 5 box that gives the player the opportunity to go back into live play at that stage, as well as carry out the thing with the ice creams?

You'll just have to grin and bear it Mark until it actually does get updated. Hopefully it won't be long as I want to post comments on the last 10 games. What a shame about poor Irene, she did not deserve that awful crash and yet again the Banker tells the truth. This worries me though that if on tommorrow and Friday's game the player choses the 'rain' ice cream, they might believe the Banker and end up sqandering big time. Only two more shows left CAN'T WAIT!!!

(Spoiler) Today's game was another fair game, even though it was a special show but most of the offers were rubbish especially the £13,500 when the top six numbers were still on the board. I know Mr Banker that your job is suppose to give as little as possible but your also suppose to stop and get them out of the chair, not actually force them to the end. It's certain that he is just trying to force everyone to get to 5 box so that no one deals. Those last three offers at the end were rubbish too, I would have gone all the way to the end at that point but probably would deal at the £26,000.

That £29,000 offer was a disgrace. I mean I remember with Pam she had the same board, (3 box) but the only difference was she had £5,000 and he had £750. Still she was given £55,000. I think I would have dealt at the £31,000 offer though.

Again though we have another player who says there going to go the end and then deal, I'm getting sick and tired of people saying that now and I’m sure the Banker is. PS did anyone see the ad for 'Noel's Hall of Fame' which starts on Monday 3rd August, I wonder what that will be like. Mind you most of them will be forced wins by the B/G, Swaps and low offers.

Yes Pam did get a higher offer and Orry did as well and ironicly his blue was £1 and he got an offer of £41,000. It's probably because they declined higher offers and were braver. Also Perry why would you have dealt at £31,000 when all you have to do is open one box at a time, even if it was one of the power three you would still get a decent offer. I would have gone even if it was a normal three box game.

so, just one show to go, and i'd say that out of 100 people, at least 70 are relieved to some extent about this. :) i'm still in new york so i won't b able to see it, but i wouldn't bet on it being less bad than last year's season finale - low offers of high ridiculosity, the banker's gamble, and a twist with the holiday at the end, and i will never forget everyone cheering william's 11-box offer of 7.5k as though he had been offered 10 times that, even though he had 5 amounts bigger including the 250k, 50k and 35k. that was like teeth being pulled! nor will i forget the stupid clips at the end showing the contestants clapping to fairground attraction's 'perfect' - one of the soppiest songs ever IMHO, and highly inappropriate too. surely the producers can't sink so low as to play that song again at the end of this season finale, regardless how the game goes?

I would deal at £31,000 because the one box at a time makes no difference to me. I mean you could hit the biggest sum, or the second highest straight away and then the banker would decrease the offer and "punish me" but thats the way I look at it. Hopefully todays game will be a goodie :D

I was absolutley right today's game was as bad as last years finale. I had a feeling Callum would play today and he was the most ANNOYING contestant EVER!!! That bloody rap was annoying too and he acted like a baby on national TV, I would be so embarrassed if I was his Mum. I was hoping the £100,000 would go actually because that £40,000 was just so obvious that he would take. Not the most exiting £100,000 climax of DOND. I think it was fix.

Ok maybe my prev comment was a bit harsh and I apologise. It might have been as bad as last years but It did involve a future offer though which was ridiculously high. Anyone would deal at £40,000 at that point, it's out of the question completly. I still haven't found one good reason for the future offers and all these extra gimmicks yet. Oh and I will watch Noel's hall of fame but most them are from season three and four, which aren't my faviroutes.

Over 100 comments WOW this has got to be a record. I was dissapointed that they didn't show highlights of season 4 as well. Even though a lot of them involved gimmicks there were some. What about Karen Jackson who broke the record of taking 9 blues in a row, had the best turn around in ages and won 75 grand, then there's Pam 'white whitch' with that wand who declined a massive £55,000 but still won 35k, Ade was another great player who turned down some big offers and went away with 17.5k, Walter who kep't on saying "happy birthday" and "red or blue"

There were a couple of £35,000 (gimmick-free) wins as well like Claire's for example, Stephen from the countdown to the 1000th show yes his involved extra offers at 5 box, but he went to the end and therefor counts as gimmick-free, well in my opinion anyway. Oh and Lisa's game from the 1000th show wasn't too bad either, MUCH better than Andy from the 3rd bday. Amy's game was great also as she created the most powerful 5 box ever and dealt at 75 grand. Apart from that that's it really.

My worst season 4 games in no particular order are Alice's, Kerry's, Mel's, the first Easter Special, the forced £75,000 win during Santa v Scrooge, the first Christmas Star (which had a £250k Banker's Gamble), the two games in which another Alice situation was one box away and the last Banker's Birthday special (in which the Banker looked in a box despite the player finding no 'Phoney' Clowns.
