A very heart-felt game. Richard dealt at a figure he thought was right, but unfortunately the timing was all wrong. The game got strong and stronger as the rounds went on and as the end neared the £250K was finally found.

What a dummy, totally self inflicted and he got what he deserved!
xxxxx.range86-164.btcentralplus.comThe whole of the power of 5 left! To deal at that pitiful amount was sacrilege! By the way, this video doesn't seem to work. Can I access this outside the UK?
xxxxx.dynamic.hinet.netThe video works fine
xxxxx.bb.sky.comOk... just saw this. One word... Bottler!!!
xxxxx.dynamic.hinet.netRichard was just one box away from what would have been the dream finish had he played on, and I don't mean to sound cruel in any way here, but if his final two boxes had indeed been the £100k and £250k, who's to say that the scenario would not have had a touch of the end of Matty's game about it? But besides that, does anyone notice how much Richard looks like Huw Edwards?
xx.134.136.202He makes me vomit with rage!
xxxxx.asfd.broadband.ntl.comwhat a dummy, glad 100000 was in his box >:(
xxxxx.in-addr.btopenworld.comif richard had been left with the £100k and £250k the bankers offer would have surely been £175k, if that didnt make richard cry then what would? i bet that if "i wanted the £75k" ioanna from last october was watching she'll have thought what an absolute coward - and despite his background she'd have actually not been entirely wrong
xx.134.176.1The worse deal in the history of the game probably anywhere in the world. What a total plonker!
xxxxx.range86-162.btcentralplus.comWhy is everyone being so negative about Richard, he's not a stupid man infact he's quite a gennuinely good bloke. £22,500 is a very decent sum of money and i'm sure it's done a lot for him. Although it was a strong board and the majority of people thought there was another round in it, it could have easily gone the other way. If he had taken out just 2 of the power five, his next offer would probably have come crashing to just 10k. Some people just can't afford to gamble in life, although i love it as it makes great TV everyone is different and have there own ambitions and ways in life.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comI can imagine that if he had had the dream finish at the end, the Banker would have said that such was the strength of this game, he would have had no real choice but to add £100k to the previous offer to make it the average of £175k. And I can imagine that there would have been enough tears at Richard missing out on over £150k, and Noel would have been seriously struggling to hold back anger and frustration towards Richard - but Richard himself would have probably still insisted that he was happy with £22.5k, even though he would surely have been gutted. And the revelation of the £100k in his box would have been completely hollow.
