£7,200 was actually accepted. Can't blame Shahid for dealing since he had some very bad rounds. £7,200 is a good result after having been knocked all the way down to £625. I'd have probably gone at £6,250, if not then definitely £7,200.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comThis really has been a dull week hasn't it. Andrew (£7,000), Roopa (£17,500), Brad (£22,000), Tony (£16,000) and Shahid (£7,200). I know this doesn't sound too bad but some of them could have won more and with the number of poor Sunday games, I'd hate to dread what this Sunday is gonna bring.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comComplain if they win big via the Banker's gamble, complain if they don't win big. Gee, there's no winning with you Joe.
xxxxx.perr.cable.virginmedia.com(Spoiler for Barbara's game)Well, Sunday brings not only another boring game but probably the WORST game of March so far. I had tuned into part 2 and I was absolutely outraged at the offer I just saw for the board. 4 of the Power 5 intact, 1p gone and the offer was a measly £6,500 and the audience was applauding this?! I'd have offered double that! We hear another sob story, then the offer drops to £2,119 and then 2 blues and £3,000 he only goes up to £7,500 which is another terrible offer. Next, she has an all red round and then she deals at a pathetic offer of £5,000. Why on earth was Noel saying that this was a really good offer when the FD is over £7K?! I'd have wanted at least £10,000 here. Someone has to tell these people not to say that they aren't a gambler otherwise the Banker uses this as an excuse to make rubbish offers.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comI know the offers in sunday's game were terrible! I would have offered slightly lower than usual as anyone could tell that she wasn't going to turn down big sums I would have offered £8,500, £14,500, £6,500, £12,000, £10,000, £37,500. I think she would have taken the 12,000. I have to say the banker probably bought the box for the lowest sum of money anyone would ever take on that board which actually seems quite genius! If I was playing the game I just could not accept that offer no matter what my circumstances were. There have been no big risk takers for a long time now :(
xx.29.76.20Well my prediction was spot on. This Sunday's was just as bad, if not worse than previous Sunday games. Normally I get annoyed when the Banker's offers are rubbish, but in this case i'm not surprised as Barbra gave far too much information away as with most players. Just shows how dumb they are. Usually though the Banker offers low to force players to go on in order to keep the ratings for this show at a steady pace, but I was surprised that she dealt anyway. It was really funny though when she had the perfect round and I doubt the final offer would've been £37,500 based on her circumstances, it would probably have been £26,000 something like that. I was laughing my head off when the £75,000 was in her box and I know that's harsh and I know some people on the fansite will have a go at me but I don't care anymore. In fact it just makes me laugh when they do that, so i'm hoping for more comments to start ranting at me so it can entertain me.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.com@Mark Would you really give generous offers to someone like Barbara? ........exactly. I hated this game and I wouldnt have offered much more if I was the banker. And Mark strangely enough, there was a contestant called Lee who played in season 4 who dealt at 4k with the same reds. 5K WAS A VERY GOOD OFFER? LOL omg
xxxxx.range86-136.btcentralplus.comyeah I know what you mean, I just think that the banker should make good offers to make the no deals harder but in this case even at very very low offers the player still really struggled. Barbera wasn't a gambler so deal or no deal probably didn't make a good decision if they were looking for an entertaining game but she was truly inspirational with her story and it was good for her to get the opportunity to go on TV as battling after illness for years is very difficult
xx.29.76.20and as if the game itself wasn't bad enough noel insisted at the start of the show that the contestants do not know when they're going to b picked. give us a f**king break... BTW that's two consecutive shows where the contestant playing is disabled in some way - don't think that's ever happened before
