Synopsis:

The second Birthday show today, and Shell steps up for the challenge. A fantastic start is treated with a joke offer from the Banker! The offers do pick up however, but then fall off towards the 5-box clown stage. At 5-box Shell finds the 'Funny' clown straight away and doesn't allow the Banker to look in any boxes. Shell decides to play on and now gets an offer after every box. After the 1st box she receives an offer of £17,5000 which she snaps up. After the 2nd box the Banker would have offered £13,000, and then follows this up with a Banker's Gamble at the very end! Shell doesn't take him up on this and also would not have swapped. It doesn't go well for Shell when the £100,000 is revealed in her box.

That first offer being so low was one of the less bad aspects of this show.

That's exactly why we hate the special shows, cuz they add gimmicks that ruin the format of the show and the gameplay is ruined. The Banker's offers are always poor on the special shows because he tries to force them to get to 5 box as they'll get an offer after each box. I'm sure that if this had been a normal game the opening offer would have been at least 10k and the offer at the 3rd round would have been 20k.

I have seen that board at 11 box a few times now and I remember the offer being £30,000 and players would still decline them. Oh boy I wish Deal or No Deal would go back to it's old ways.

Well this is Deal Or No Deal's 3rd Shell. The Banker should go to hell, after offering Shell £1,200 after an all blue opening round. It was similar to the 1st Shell's game from November 9, 2005 where she was the first contestant to have an all blue opening round but recieved an opening offer of £4,300, beating this Shell's opening offer after an all blue opening round.

Well out of the three games to have been played by a Shell this one was easily the worst.

The banker's gamble in this game was quite reasonable. But I think he knew it would be declined. She dealt at the same at what Alice dealt at, the only difference was that the gamble was offered for a value £150,000 less than Alices. £17,500 is being offered a lot recently.

Er no the Banker's Gamble shouldn't be offered full stop. It doesn't matter if the the Banker's Gamble would have been the offer with a 1p/100k climax, it still ruins the point of saying No Deal so the game still sucks. I wonder if Noel and the Banker ever read our comments and take them into consideration.

[spoiler] Another good game today, although if the last box of the last round had been £50,000 then we know what would have happened. Luckily though it was the £100,000 and that's why Noel's 'Yes!' was so strained.

Also £20,000 was a rubbish offer at 5 box, a fair offer is about 30k with that board I don't know why everyone thought it was a good offer.

Cos nowadays that is a good offer it seems, it's becoming more clear that the banker only offers decent offers after the player has dealt.

I'm sorry to say it, but I think Plan Man would still be posting these idiotic comments of his even if everybody ignored him. Giving the most important information about a game without any regard for those who haven't yet had the chance to see that game, stating these facts as if he thinks "oh I know everything there is to know about DOND", and telling us bloody obvious things like the age of a current contestant who is very old. And all the time seemingly not showing one little bit of respect for any of the decent users on this site. I do not trust Plan Man one little bit, and probably never will!
