Simon takes on the banker today, and gets off to an amazing start of 6 straight blues. The opening offer is a fantastic £15,000, but is declined by Simon. The second round kicks off well, but then takes a turn for the worse as the big reds start to tumble. The banker sticks at £15,000 which encourages Simon to play on. But the reds keep falling, although the banker keeps sticking at £15,000. In a 4th round twist the banker calls back and increases the offer to £16,500 which seems to unsettle Simon a little, although he decides to play on. After more reds fall in the next round and the offer falls to £11,500, Simon calls it a day and deals. This proves a wise as the proveout round shows there was no more in the game for him.
