Don't really know what to make of this game. Sure, it's a Banker Spanking but the offer was pathetic. She deserved more. I'd have offered about £16-£17,000. I hope the Banker doesn't use tommorow's gimmicks as an excuse to make rubbish offers.

Well i'd have offered £15,000 there but I can understand why she dealt and remember it's still a lot of money. Well time for the easter shows now and trust me you can expect rubbish offers and possibly a silly gimmick where the player has a chance to win either a holiday or some more money.

Are we gonna get more blatant advertising of Ice Lolly again? I looked it up and it's just a holiday price comparison site.

The easter game's theme looks so bad- did you see how they dressed the beautiful Ciara to make her look like a freak? I would much prefer the scrooge/santa- trick/treat sort of thing for these games though because the whole good egg/ bad egg made the whole game play stupid. Anyway today's game was good but 5,000 was another of those really low offers- thankfully she went on though, she was a great person and after the two mistakes on monday and tuesday she was the player who declined the low offer and got a much improved offer

So, what was everyone's game of the month? My pick would be Caine, brilliant game and £72,000 at just 19?! Second goes to Nicola for being brave in declining £22,000 which was a good offer and getting £37,000 as a result.

Well my favourite game this month was definatley Caine's, probably the second best this season in fact. The worst games this month were Neide's and Huddy's

Those who seem to think that the show's popularity is sinking, think again. It has record viewers and the contestant applications (which have just closed) are at an all time record high. It is Channel 4's most popular programme. I love the gimmicks, banker's gamble is my favourite, followed by future offers and offer-after-every-box. They make for an excellent change and keep everybody on their toes. I would also like to record my thanks to the people who run this site. Most games are on the site in record time. Well done, keep it up. Good times ahead for Deal or no Deal.

One thing about the offer after every box thing: That used to be the format for DOND when it started in the Netherlands and then in Australia (we got the show before you guys in 2003). The UK producers apparently then decided to change the format to the current one. In the original, its 26 suitcases (rather than boxes) and the format is 6-5-4-3-2-1 (6 to open in round 1, 5 in round 2 etc until 6 boxes remain, then offer after every box). The two "formats" have different strengths and weaknesses but that is why DOND is one of the most popular gameshows worldwide.

I appreciate and respect what you say Crazy Chair, but not everyone is going to agree with you. Everyone has their own thoughts on Deal or No Deal and although you may like all these so called gimmicks and special shows, the majority of us on the fansite don't. It's just something that has never impressed me from the start, I prefer it when it is just the normal games without any gimmicks whatsoever. I think the main reason we all like them is because that's how it started and most of us are still use to it that way. I just hope they don't decide to add any more gimmicks and special shows, otherwise it will come to the conclusion where we never have a normal game again.

Crazy Chair, surely you realise that this site is not always perfect? And that regular gimmicks like the Banker's gamble, future offers and an offer after every box from 5 box won't be "good" forever - they will become stale over time (if they're not stale already) and, well, the producers will then have to come up with some new gimmicks to maintain the 2-3 million viewers the show's currently getting. And these are not record viewer figures, BTW - before Laura won the £250k, the show was often pulling in 4 million.

(This comment contains a SPOILER of today's game)Well, this game never really got going. £10,600 was the first offer but then the big reds kept going and the offer kept dropping. The Banker used the Cheshire Cats as an excuse to make that rubbish £8,000 offer. I was so pleased to see Kath have £10,000 in her box but the ending was so annoying! The Banker rang like FIVE times!
