Synopsis:

Back to normal today as the Easter specials come to an end. Thel gets off to a mixed start, and gets an average opening offer, although she manage to build on this over the next few rounds. When things start to slow down at the end of the 4th round, Thel grabs the small increase on offer and calls it a day. It turns out to have been a fairly good move with a stick from the Banker in the following proveout round, although a slightly bigger win was available if Thel could have played all the way and opened her box, but Thel doesn't have any regrets about her decision.

this was actually the 200th episode of season 4 - a mix up on this site has steve's game on 19 march listed before cheri's game the day before, and both being credited as the 177th episode of this season, leading to the episode numbers of subsequent games being one less than they should b. anyway, when we reach these season milestones, james usually states the average pay out so far, and compares it to the same stage in seasons 1, 2 and 3...

Thanks for reminding me... Season 1: £16,467, Season 2: £18,948, Season 3: £15,794, Season 4: £15,353. Season 4 is still the lowest despite including a £250,000 'win'. However season 4's average has been boosted ever since that Santa v Scrooge week during which the Banker seemingly forgot about the Credit Crunch.

Seeing as you like stats so much no dealer here's some more: since Deal or No Deal started there have been 48 players who have won pennies as well as pounds, the lowest of these amounts being £0.01 and the highest being £70,000.01 in the 211th episode of season 2.
