A slighlty mad-cap game from Tony, but he does set up a strong board and gets some good offers. He then shocks everyone with a deal in the 3rd round, but was it way too early and was there more in the round?

Oh dear, I really want to forget this game but Noel is probably going to mention it tomorrow. Not only was Tony one of the most annoying players I have ever seen on DOND but all the chatting just made the game so boring and to top it all off he dealt at the THIRD offer! Also, that offer of £33,000 at 2 box was so over-inflated. When has the Banker ever offered that much with 10p and £100K there in live play?! I'd probably expect Ol' Faithful (£26,000) to come up there if he had played to that point. And, again the Banker calls at 3 box with the future offer rubbish.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comI'm sure everyone was shocked when Tony said Deal as I was. How on earth can you deal with 4 of the power five still there and £16,000 was a rubbish offer anyway, it should have been in the 20s at least. Also after a long run of gimmick free games, they return again and becuase Tony had already dealt the offer was massively inflated, it would never be £33,000, he would probably offer £20,000 at the most. I was worried when the Banker rang that he was going to say the B/G would come if you take out a blue as it was perfectly set out for him. So far though in the past few week there have hardly been any exiting games, last one I saw was Gaz's game which was nearly a month ago. If things don't improve soon, the ratings will slump down to it's current ratings of 2m viewers.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comIts no wonder Noël take NO notice of what's said below. If I had gone on to the end,I would have won 10pence. Instead I have-- -SIXTEEN THOUSAND POUNDS-
xxxxx.haye.cable.virginmedia.comIm catchin up on this game but obviously I knw what happend now why did he deal at £16,000 with that amazin board and yes that 6th offer was over inflated last time i saw a offer that high in that scenerio was callums with £40,000 with them 2 in play but that was a special show banker get a grip we all know that last offer was inflated and even tht 5th offer my offers wudve been £9,750, £16,500, £22,000, £9,500, £11,000, And finally £30,000 and sayin that he did offer yaser £31,000 with £250 + £100,000 in play i gotta admit at first i thought he did the right thing but nope well atleast there was no bankers gamble as yes it was set up for it now im wonderin is this the end for the bankers gamble i sure do hope so.
xxxxx.range81-157.btcentralplus.comi'm not tremendously sure that really is tony in comment 3...
xx.134.154.170Whether that is the real Tony or not (and I have no reason to think he is not real) the comment is right. £16,000 was a very good deal at the right time. The £33,000 (final offer) was inflated and I was disappointed that the banker's gamble was not offered, as I think it is one of the best things the banker has ever come up with.
xxxxx.manc.cable.ntl.comWell if that is the real Tony in comment 3 then why is that comment so shoddily written and the first part of it makes little or no sense?
xxx.157.1.184And Crazy Chair, with all due respect, you probably haven't made yourself very popular there. The majority of other players wouldn't have hesitated turning down that £16k, especially with four of the power 5 still there, and it's very rare that a player deals at the third offer and it's the perfect move (in that they get the most money there was in the game). Though it nearly happened here, of course... And what makes the Banker's Gamble so good?! As has been mentioned several times before, it makes the game more like Deal For Now or No Deal. And it may have freshened up the show at first, and led to some big winners (we all know who the most notable of all is), but it can't remain fresh forever...
xxx.157.1.184But the thing that also makes the Banker's Gamble so bad is the fact that is clearly removes the whole point of saying 'No Deal'. I've said this many, many times now but I will always remind everyone in case they've forgot. If you say 'Deal' and still leave a big number to the end with a blue and the B/G is offered, then you'll just be allowed back into live play. If Tony's game had featured the B/G and he accepted it and won £100,000, then most of the people on this fansite (including me) would have called this a very bad game because of the fact that he dealt at a rubbish 3rd offer and then got the chance to win more at the end, which shows no bravery at all. In other words you may as well just 'Deal' to anything that looks like a B/G is very possible of happening, because then your garanteed some money even if the B/G is offered as you don't have to accept it if you don't want to. Where as if you say 'No Deal' then your risking losing your money and going away with a blue. Unfortunatley the Banker's Gamble has caused so many forced big wins, the worst of all is Alice. All she did was dealt at the 4th offer of £17,500 and then accepted a JOKE!!! Banker's Gamble (how more stupid can the Banker get, I mean who would offer the gamble at that point). Laura on the other hand showed real courage by going all the way to the end, yes the final offer of £45,000 was low but she could have easily took it and blown it big time and it took guts to turn it down as it was a lot of money to her. Kirsty, Morris and Corrine also was very brave by going to the end and just narrowly missed out on winning the £250,000. Oh if only they had swapped their box, but that's destiny. So as you see that's why most people on this fansite hate the Banker's Gamble and I wish it would just end. On a good side though it hasn't been offered since Justin's game but i'm sure it's bound to come crawling back. The Banker hasn't forgotten.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comPhew, that took me ages to write all that down as well and to make sure all my spellings and grammer was perfect. Well I suppose when you've got a C grade in English it's to be expected.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comDidn't Laura say that she would've dealt if the offer was £50K? I'm dreading the intro of today's game. Noel is gonna mention yesterday's game for sure.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comYes she did Another DOND Fan.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comhi Another DOND Fan..( Not only was Tony one of the most annoying players I have ever seen on DOND but all the chatting just made the game so boring ).I thank you for this charming comment sir,you have the advantage over me as you know who I am,and you remain anonymous and therefore are able to make comments in a distasteful manor.I just wonder if you have ever applied to be a contestant?,or would you prefer to remain in hiding behind a nondiplumbe.
