Last of the Love Week specials and Yaser takes his place at the pound table. He picks Gaz as his 'Love God' and tells the Banker he is prepared to go to the end in his game! He gets off to a good start and improves on this in the next round, but then takes a big hit in the 3rd round and is really punished by the Banker. He recovers well in the next round but again takes another hit in the 5th round for his offer to plummet again. Yaser plays into the final round and uses his'Love God' on the 2nd box of the round, and gets an offer of £18,888. Yaser decides to play on and open the final box of the round and sets up a dramatic finish.

Well I suppose if your going to end Love Week, it's good to end it like this. I actually enjoyed this game and I didn't think i'd say that as I don't like the special shows. He was brave to turn down £18,888 at that point, I wouldn't have done and he deserved £31,000 for being brave. Well done Yaser.
xxxxx.bagu.cable.ntl.comthis for me was the best game of love week - even better than justin's game for obvious reasons... ;) but it was certainly a good special week for the players wasn't it? 5 victories and 1 draw, and £165k paid out. NOW has season 5 turned the corner??!!?!?
xx.134.188.53also the love god predicted wrong this time about what was in his box - so i guess the whole thing wasn't dodgy after all. and did anyone else notice alfonso and melissa from last year's love week in the audience? from what i've read on the fansite forum, apparently they were invited to this game as special guests, and they were interviewed by noel and got a signed photo of the two of them - but, for whatever reason, all of this was edited out from the final broadcast. make of that what u will...
xx.134.188.53(i'll shut up after this) and we're now 150 shows into season 5 - just beyond halfway - and usually when we get to milestones like this, james gives the average for the season up to this point. but he hasn't commented on this site for quite a while now - perhaps he's had enough of the show? i can't blame him at all if that is indeed the case
xx.134.188.53Don't worry I do still watch the show but as the games are less exciting nowadays there isn't usually much to say. The average payout after 150 shows is £12,996.
xxxxx.readingconnect.netStill at least now we don't have to worry until April for the Easter shows and i'm wondering if they'll do something new as so far this season they've added more gimmicks, costumes and so on. They may even decide to do a week of Easter shows instead of 3 or 4 and I wouldn't be surprised if Noel was dressed as a Bunny and the players were dressed as something Easterish. Also if Noel's memory is as good as bringing back Alfonso and Melissa for Love week, he may invite Bunny back. Lets hope not.
xxxxx.bb.sky.com(Continued from last comment) Then once that's over we have the second worst of all, Banker's Birthday week. I hope they don't bring those clowns back again, that was one of the worst gimmicks i've seen. Then we have the Summer specials which were'nt too bad last year as the Banker made the players win the lowest amoun instead of the biggest. Then it's a much needed Summer break and i'm sure Noel's prepared some of his 'All Time Faviroutes' (Worst IMO) if the 'Hall of Fame' is back. Then we're back with a new Season with even more gimmicks, special shows, sob stories etc etc etc. Preety soon there will be no more classic games left. Oh and before anyone has a go at me, I am just saying it like it is and I am just giving my personal opinion on this show ok. I'll say no more.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comwell as always i agree with ur every word joe - and with u too james, there isn't much to say about most games these days. and that average payout is sure to have been a good bit less only a few weeks ago - until shell and tracey had great games and then love week came along
xx.134.130.15Looking at some of the negative comments here, I am surprised that some of you waste your time with Deal or no Deal. Watch the show for what it is, a good entertaining random game show (with the odd gimmick thrown in, to stop it becoming too samey) or switch over to the re-runs of 'Double your Money' I am sure that some of you could find fault with Hughie Green and Monica !
xxxxx.manc.cable.ntl.comYes Crazy Chair I know i'm a bit sad at times and can rant on a bit, but like I said before i'm just saying it how it is with Deal or No Deal. We all still watch it because every now and then, there is still a good classic game but with the ever increasing gimmicks, special shows, players dealing early at rubbish offers that it becomes very rare these days.
xxxxx.bb.sky.comno disrespect crazy chair, but we already know u'll b a dond fan right up until the show finally disappears from the airwaves... and do they actually have re-runs of 'double your money' these days? that was on over 40 years ago
